There’s no air conditioning and no fridge in the room. Also the mattress wasn’t that comfortable.

The hotel is near a beautiful beach and not to far from the center. It’s possible to walk there.

The swimming pool is indoor only. While this must be great in colder days, on a hot summer day it’s impossible to stay in the pool area, because it’s too hot.

Great location right by the beach, comfortable and spacious rooms, easy access by bike to the main village of the island.

The choice of menu was limited in the restaurant. An addition of healthy or vegan choices would be good.

The room was spacious, light and modern. Location was the best , on the beach! Breakfast was good, enough choice of healthy food.

Loved the place and the area was amazing, super clean room and all the staff were helpful and very friendly! Breakfast was good, nothing extra but all you need. Definitely visiting again!

The hotel is a bit old and may need updating in its architectural design. However our room is modern and very clean. So it's okay.

I like the spacious room, amazing view, beautiful location, and the superb facilities such as bowling alley. We really enjoyed our long weekend gateway in Vlieland.

We booked sea view room but we got a room overlooking the dunes and the roof of the building, with side limited sea view. The reception wasn’t really understanding and helpful- only the day after the shift manager tried explaining that it’s booking.com flaw because (inaccurate description) and offered us small price deduction. Nice gesture but didn’t really compensate for the see view experience loss. The room soundproof is not ideal - we could hear the neighbors, all night long. The restaurant staff was not very professional and accommodating, was rather overpriced and mediocre food -poor value for money. Kids club/activities would’ve been nice. (There’s only a very small kids/baby corner at the restaurant area which is handy)

The hotel is located right on the sand dunes facing both the beach and the forest behind. Facilities including the rooms are recently updated. There are still some indications that this hotel has been here for a long time entertaining beachside holiday makers, but that in my opinion adds to its charm. Staff were very friendly. Pool and wellness areas were very nice additions especially on a rainy winters day. The sauna's were really large, with plenty of room to soak up the heat.

Why not put slippers and other needs for the swimming pool in the room.

Location is great. Room was very quiet. A big basic for the price. The beds were good, the seats were not very comfortable.

For a spa hotel, it's a bit odd that there is no sauna and you don't even get bathrobes to head to the pool.

The only problem I had was the room whirlpool bath. This was very dirty and when I ran a bath and turned on the whirl pool function there was a lot of dirt that came out. I had to refill the bath twice and clean to remove to a point I could use the whirlpool.

I liked the whatsapps messages giving further information. The breakfast was amazing and the view was outstanding!! I loved the location being so close to the beach/sea. The staff were amazing and accommodated to all our needs

The spa: I went for two treatments at the spa which were very expensive. The massage was okay, I have had better, but the facial which was 124euros was really bad. It involved the therapist not purifying (removing blocked pores etc or checking my skin) but instead putting around 50 lotions on my skin e.g. creams, sprays - none had an affect! Then she tryed to upsell more products to me . She also used a device on my skin to test the dryness before and after the treatment which was a total fraud!!!! I had just had a massage with a lot of oil so my skin was definitely not dry but this device showed it was - what a joke! This is really too much to pay for such a treatment - really not worth it and the upsell and fraud skin test left me with a bad feeling that I was being ripped off and lied to. I didn’t want more stress and conflict so didn’t address it at the time as it would have upset me further. But it’s definitely the emperor’s new clothes and one to avoid.

Location, room, facilities swimming pool, bowling, spa and restaurant. We stayed in one of the family apartments and it was really comfortable with a great view.
