The toilet room was a bit tiny, but we were small enough to fit inside.

The breakfast was very nice. We also liked the decor, the atmosphere of the B&B. The room and bathroom were stylish, new, and very clean. The eating kitchen was very nice.

The one thing they could improve on, would be sound insulation from within the building itself.

It’s a beautiful old building with lots of history, greeted by Elise, feels very welcoming. Decor is awesome, all the rooms and shared spaces are decorated very tastefully and cozy. Great style, cozy, some modern touches but always with a hint of the past. Facilities are great, we stayed in a room in the attic. Which was already remodeled. It’s pretty well insulated against the cold (or heat, we stayed in the winter) from outside.

Bar opposite wasn’t noisy, however perhaps a blind could be added to the windows as if shutters open to allow fresh air, the people in the bar can see into the room so it meant keeping shutters closed so room was a little stuffy just with fan as no aircon.

A historical characterful building so quirky and not just like any other hotel. Lovely hosts and fantastic breakfast! Brilliant central location for everything in Dokkum.

This is an old building. It has old, single-glazed windows that are inadequate to keep out the noise from neighbouring bars and restaurants. The room had an "electric toilet". We were encouraged to place soiled toilet paper in a bin. The electric wiring looked suspect. We wish our hostesses well for their renovation project. We were charged for bike storage.

Friendly, welcoming hostesses. Very central position on the main canal. Excellent bed (I like a firm bed.) Quirky decor. Good breakfast delivered to our room in a picnic hamper. Warm croissants and eggs.

Some of the cables are lined along the floor in front of door openings. I would recommend to re-route them along the door to prevent tripping. The rooms are very noisy there if possilbe look for more sound insulation options. However, I do understand the challenge with these old buildings.

This was a great option for a weekend get away. The host was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The room was cozy and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring Dokkum. The breakfast was really nice and a great way to start the day.

Clean and cozy apartment, located in a very central location. The building itself is simply charming✨ the breakfast was the freshest, crispiest and the tastiest 🤤🤤😋 We will definitely book this stay again for our next trip to Dokkum. Thank you Monique and Eloise for our stay!

very noisy during night (maybe because of summer party that Saturday ), toilet seat not attached properly to the wall and therefore a sense of unsafeness, very poor lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom( I'm aware of the theme of the room but really I could see anything ), glass bottle in the shower for shampoo and shower gel , just placed on one shelf and not fixed to the wall, I understand very decadent and flamboyant but I did not found them safe myself to be there.

location, friendly staff, easy going attitude, coffee corner. love the free parking not very far from the hotel.

Requested two beds, as I was travelling with my daughter. Only one bed when she got there. I had sent a reminder weeks before and was confirmed for 2 beds. Very disappointed.

Everything was amazing! very clean, quiet room! lovely big breakfast every morning. Every day they cleaned and made the bed. All hotel staff are great! I recommend to everyone! when we left they gave us a present, a lot of delicious!
