The hostess was very polite, and the place was clean.

The cottage is in the garden, the bed is too soft, the place is far from the central of amsterdam. There is not a lot of space.

We can't fault anything.

It's the garden cabin of a house located a bit away from the city of Amsterdam. It would be better to stay here if you have a car as it's the most convenient way to move around. However we did enjoy the bikes our host provided to move around to the supermarket etc... The cabin itself is cozy and comfortable considering the space. The host was super nice and accommodating and explained everything to us. The view from the living room is gorgeous and very refreshing.

The beds are squeaky and there isn't much privacy between the rooms or the entire house as the space is a bit small.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! So relaxing and such a short right to the city center. Situated in a small village on the outskirts of Amsterdam, this cottage has a wonderful, picturesque backyard patio, where you can see all the local animals in their natural habitat. The hotel restaurant nearby is absolutely delicious and really takes on any of the inner city ones. We loved the host, had a very intriguing chat with her, she was extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely come again when we are in Amsterdam.

Everything about this place makes me want to go back and stay for a longer duration. Will definitely do that in future.

Nothing

We were enchanted by the little fishing village of Durgerdam! We had no idea it would be so beautiful. While Durgerdam is easily accessible to Amsersdam (a beautiful half hour bike ride to the ferry, or a 10 minute bike ride to the metro), we ended up loving the location so much that we often spent full days biking around, visiting other little towns, or just taking long strolls along the water. Our host Anneke was also very nice, and we appreciated the access to 4 bicycles!

The kitchen was small and not very well equipped. However, we made do.

It has a picturesque view.. overlooking the green grounds… very quiet and peaceful. The owner was friendly and very helpful. Free bike options were great too.

The second room with bunk-bed was not comfortable for the third adult. The place is best for couples with two young children.

My parents really enjoyed the view of the grassland where they could see the wild geese, ducks, rabbits, pussies and cows :)

If heaven on earth exists, then it is here. Thanks to the wonderful hostess, we felt not just at home, we felt welcomed and beloved guests. Anneke met us, revealed all the cards (maps), literally and figuratively, told us about cheap parking lots, convenient shops... The photo of the apartment does not convey all its charm and uniqueness. Housing is simple, on the one hand, but thought out to the smallest detail and very beautiful .. Local cats, swans, cows, ducks came to say hello to us, on a small terrace we met a delightful sunrise ... and this is a 10-minute drive from the metropolis .. Thank you so much for this amazing bonus to the Vermeer exhibition

The scenery is simply beautiful! Anneke enthusiastically introduced us to p+R parking, perfect for a driving trip!

Absolutely adored this gorgeous garden house in the picturesque village of Durgerdam. Such a lovely place right next to the city! We loved walking in the village, really enjoyed the view into the fields at the back, and it was very close to Amsterdam-Noord activities we had. Also the huge organic supermarket around the corner was a definite extra bonus

The matrasses in the main bedroom were so super super soft, that it killed my back, and the second night we slept on the floor in the living room, and put the kids in the main bedroom. I am sure the landlords will replace them upon reading this... :)

Lovely place and clean warm cottage. Strongly recommend.

Great view, very quiet neighborhood and close to the city. Has everything you need. The host is supernice and helpful. Wiłl definitely choose this place again when I come back.
