How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Toilet was not at the right place , no privacy n not hygiene as the door was half open up . Bedsheets were dirty Toilet floor n room was was dirty with food stuff.
The hotel is very nice n cosy , in the city itself and lots of things to do and resturants and bars. The reception staff was very friendly n helpful.thank you to the nice young girl she let me borrow the charger.

Would have liked different pillows - they were massive squares and very high and difficult to sleep on. Also would have liked a kettle to boil water as the water from the coffee machine is not hot enough to make tea. Otherwise was a lovely hotel and room
The breakfast was great, fresh eggs, nice granola and variety of yoghurts etc, lovely bread and enough ham/cheese etc Could have done with some fresh milk to make tea (for English people)

Repurpose of old bank building. Interior decor especially the ground floor bar and restaurant area but also the bedrooms some very good interesting design features. Welcoming efficient reception. Lucky to be given a lovely room on 4 th floor with wide outlook. Clean comfortable quiet. Shower splendid. Good nights sleep Would recommend

The light in the shower and the toilets was way too bright.

The bathroom was interesting. It at least had separate doors for the shower and toliet.
The location of this hotel is excellent. It is within an easy walking distance of many restaurants and things to do. The shower was the best we had for our entire trip. The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was good but slightly pricey. Overall - not a dealbreaker.

The shower was a bit complicated, we were not able to really figure out the 3-button system. We managed to wash to a necessary degree, though. I didn't like the access to the lifts, away from the reception area. Obviously "by Hilton", not Hilton... No chairs in the room, as there were not enough space for a chair/ chairs.
We liked the bed, very comfortable. Only here for one night. Didn't have breakfast. Very quiet room.

Parking problem. Hotel parking was full amd I had really problem about park place.

Pillows were not comfortable and breakfast was a little more expensive than I would've liked (other hotels I've stayed at in Rotterdam usually offer comparable breakfast for less than 20).

The rooms are indeed very small. But the hotel is open about this and even communicates about this in the lobby area.
Very comfortable bed and shower. Originally we had 4 rooms booked. Unfortunately, we had to cancel 1 room the day before arrival. The hotel accepted our request for free cancelation. The safe underground parking was easy to book upfront and accessible with a touch on your phone.
