Hotel close to the station with a traditional but modern feel. Rooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Reception staff were super helpful and professional.

It just doesn’t compare to a few years ago. It is a bit run down and no more amazing bath and body products or a lovely stocked fridge. Also the coffee was just from a machine and not good.

I have stayed here several times before it was Leonardo. It is a great location and the beds are very comfortable. It is clean.

B The breakfast room was too dark for my liking. The water pressure in the shower was OK but I would have preferred stronger.

I stayed for a week and I really liked that there were good shelves, storage spaces, and surface areas for putting things. My room didn't have a lot of natural light but the artificial lighting was really great - as well as various small area lights there was a big central ceiling light with a dimmer switch so you could have it any degree of brightness you wanted. Most hotels don't have this.

We found the bed very comfortable and had our own small outdoor balcony with table and chairs. Property is very clean with lovely en-suite. Breakfast was very good. Great location across road from train station.

No toilets located on the same level as reception / breakfast area. Private parking was an extra charge of €15 per day, ok for 1 or 2 nights but €75 for 5 nights is expensive and needs a discount for longer stays. Room cleaning on request was not mentioned on check-in instead they relied on you reading the posters in the lift. Stayed during Wimbledon so was disappointed English BBC channels didn't work anywhere in the hotel.

The bathroom in the room has a glass door. When either of us went to the bathroom in the night, the light streamed through the glass bathroom door and woke the other person up. Really stupid design. Would love to return to this hotel but they need to replace those bathroom doors.

We wanted to reserve a parking space but you couldn’t reserve it. When we arrived the parking was full so we had to park much further away. The hotel has 78 rooms and only 20 parking spaces. It would be better that you can reserve it. Or make it clear that parking by the hotel is very limited. The lobby has a chemical smell when you arrive,

Everything was perfect! Can't think of anything we don't like or had trouble with.

Lots of time given for breakfast, lots of selections. Across the street from the train station and bus hub. Lots of good restaurants close by. Great staff - friendly and full of helpful information. Great price!

Perfect location for exploring Leeuwarden on foot. The hotel has a lot of rooms but the staff made it feel very friendly and 'gezellig'. I asked specifically for a quiet room and this was immediately arranged.

Very noisy in front of the street as it can be very busy , so seating and relaxing in a quite environment is not really an option. I found the lobby area quite darkish, the lighting and the color of the furniture. I found the room price a bit overpriced since it was just a simple room. I would add maybe some more toiletries for example to make it more cozy.

The location was excellent right next to the train station and easy walk to the center. very good breakfast with a lot of options which i liked a lot, very helpful and kind stuff, super clean, parking on site in very good price having in mind the options of Leeuwarden. The hotel smelled very very nice.
