The house keeping service needs to be improved, there are dirts and dusts behind the bed and around. A clear indication of poor thorough cleaning and house keeping. House keeping needs to pay attention to details. Concierge service broke the handle of my carry-on. The hotel could take a better action rather than sending an apology email denying its their fault as per CCTV. customer is always right; we handled the bag in a good condition. They should at least provide any kind of compensation.

The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Form responses to enquiries via Booking dot com platform - a clear "copy & paste" answer for a 5 star establishment is not correct. The reception desk also never gave us updates on our room readiness and if it was not for the amazing concierge (Lotus) we would still be sitting and wondering.

Exceptional service from the concierge, Lotus. She arranged a difficult restaurant reservation and kept us updated to our room readiness. She also then checked up on us when we finally managed to get to our room. The rooms are fabulous, very well appointed and roomy. Everything oozes class here.

Both bar and restaurant are closed on Sundays. I’d picked this hotel for 2 nights on that basis as a solo traveller, so disappointed. Enjoyed a Lidl picnic in my room instead! It’s a little walk to the main area of city, but lots of interest on way.

Beautiful luxurious building and plush room. Spa a nice added extra. Lovely restaurant, with attentive staff, although quite expensive. Breakfast delicious and plentiful, loved the conservatory room.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable and with a certain charm. Our room had a wonderful view of the river. The entire staff was very polite and attentive. Breakfast is very varied and with very good quality products. Delicious!

The front steps with heavy luggage... Also a window cleaner cleaning our bedroom windows when we'd just woken up and were getting cleaned and ready for the day! We had opened the curtains to see the view and next thing we knew a guy was looking right into our room!!

Really heavy internal doors! We had a wheelchair. The front entrance too was upstairs and although staff helped on occasions they weren’t always there. You could go out through the side but meant going through the restaurant which was busy at breakfast 🤷🏼‍♀️

Riverside House is in need of a refurbish. Some “cheap” features, poorly thought out eg TV on wheels collides with curtains, wires everywhere.

Nothing I can think of

First time in Amsterdam. We stayed for 7 night and loved the hotel. The room was big, great canal view and very clean. We went almost every evening, at the end of the day, to the sauna, hot steam and pool. I also used the gym few times, excellent facilities. We went for breakfast on Eastern sunday and the food was very good. The staff is great, very helpful! We would definitely go back, great experience.

The family rooms are in a different building which is next to a relatively noisy bar, however the windows block out the noise.

The spa facilities are quite small. The fan in the bedroom was very noisy. The bedroom didn’t have much light unless the curtains were open. We obviously had the curtains closed when we were getting dressed and it was quite dark even with all the lights on. It’s nice mood lighting but it needs a larger, brighter light.

It’s such a beautiful building and tastefully decorated. The staff were all very kind, very professional and very attentive. It’s in a good location being 30 min walk from the centre which is slightly out the way of all the hustle and bustle but also easily accessible.

Great location close to the exhibition center. Nice view also on the river a lot of good restaurant around I really appreciate the breaskfast and the bed comfort.

Unfortunately the only restaurant has to be closed on Sunday. So i didn’t have chance to dine there. It was rated very high. I would have loved to get some drinks in the evening in the big and nice reception area. Swimming poor is smaller than expected but okay.

Location: quiet and beautiful area. Exceptionally comfortable bed. friendly staff and happy to help. Great breakfast in a nicely designed restaurant
