The room was very clean and provided all we needed but was slightly "worn".The access was up quite a steep set of stairs.

WE arrived late at the night but unfortunately the heaters were not working and we have to switch on the towel rack(heater) in the bathroom and kept the washroom door open all night to have some comfortness in a cold night. But we do understand this could be an one-off situation for the hotel because we have stayed in the same hotel couple of times before and everytime our expectation was always met. So this one incident would not take away the fact that this is one of the affordable but splendid stay in the area. More love to you guys. We will be back again.

Lock on the room door didn't work with the key and the hotel entrance door was really difficult to open sometimes. The wind affected it greatly but I feel the lock itself was in need of maintenance.

Due to traffic we were delayed and would not make the 6pm front desk closure time on a Monday. we were sent a detailed what's app video of how to enter the property using the key box and code which was very helpful. the room itself was clean and cosy with ample tea and coffee. The sea view from the room was amazing . Breakfast was lovely and the lady serving was very helpful and kind. We were in Vlissingen for a funeral and although checkout was 10.30 we were able to say longer to leave at 12pm which was great as we were heading back to the airport after the service. we would have liked to eat at the restaurant but it is closed on a Monday ...so next time.

The stairs going in are challenging, especially if one would have a lot of luggage. I was not aware that many restaurants are closed on Monday. Although the self check-in was easy,I might have done something illegal as I drove my car on the promenade thinking that I should have the ability to bring my luggage, I am still not sure a d I guess will find out if a city fine comes my way.

The magnificent view is what comes to mind first. The room was lovely and big. The shower nice and hot with a lot of space to move around in.

Definitely go for a sea view room. Watching the container ships glide past in the dark is awesome. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The sheets slipped a lot on the mattresses and at night this would really be uncomfortable. The sheets didn't smell very fresh, a little bit like when you dry some towels at home and they still smell a bit damp. Also would have been good to have a few hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.

The location was good, right by the sea. There was a little balcony which was nice as well. Bit funny having the door from the hall opening into the bathroom but aside from the the layout of the room was good. The lady who served breakfast in the morning was very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was closed on a Monday, but that wasn't a big issue for me.

The view was superb. I loved the chairs and little desk to do a bit of work. The balcony was really nice!

There are special permissions needed to reach this location by car and to park (which the hotel organises for you, smoothly). The stairs are rather steep and slim - not easy when carrying luggage upstairs. There's a trick to naturally ventilate the room using the window settings, which we only discovered in the morning.

The view from the room was amazing, and so was the overall room decor and comfort. Wish we had stayed there longer. The Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was functional and sufficient.

The breakfast is basic and after 7 days the same breakfast everyday gets a little boring.

The location is exceptional. Watching the ships pass by on the ocean just across the street was a highlight. Nice comfortable room with large bathroom and shower. The staff and manageress were really friendly and helpful. My granddaughter from around the corner had her birthday, and everyone made her birthday at breakfast a memorable one. Thank you, Solskin.

Great location right at the beach boulevard in Vlissingen. The hotel is a bit older but the rooms are well kept and clean. We had a nice loggia with sea view which was great. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I can recommend staying here

The rooms and general areas need updating as the decor is a bit old-fashioned. Some of the metal parts in the shower are rusty.

located on the boulevard. Try to book a room with sea view. It was quite stormy when I stayed there, which gave impressive waves. The restaurant serves excellent seafood. Rooms were very clean. Spacious bathroom. Upon arrival the reception staff was very helpful with parking permits for the area.

Perfect location, comfortable room with everything needed, helpful and friendly staff. The bathroom on the room with city view was immense and even had a bath thub.
