The staff were very friendly, helpful and hardworking. Room was clean, beautifully decorated (as was the rest of the hotel!). Buffet breakfast was excellent. Bike storage (we were on a tour superb and secure. Location a short walk from town centre. Beautiful city too!

Room was a bit small. Replace towels when necessary. Would be nice to have a system for getting suitcases up the stairs.

The location is perfect, especially if you have a car, parking was no problem. The facilities were amazing, very quiet with a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was excellent. Dokkum is a lovely town and the hosts treated me like family. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Unfortunately, in my room there was unpleasant smell from sewage. So I kept my door open very often. The AC was quite noisy, difficult to sleep. When I turned it off, I felt cold.

Very kind staff, tasty breakfast. The restaurant is really nice and they prepare great food. The standard room on the ground floor was clean. The location right next to the city centre.

No safe in room. No refrigerator in room.

Large locked bicycle storage room with charging point at end of building. Excellent air conditioning. Large (deluxe) room. Open shelf storage in room (nothing left behind). Large bathroom and good shower. Everything smells new (renovated 2020 I believe). Lovely reception staff (maybe the owner). Lovely downstairs terrace for afternoon drink.

As all the other hotels, the pillows aren't so comfortable to support the neck. I advise you to arrange them properly to make it comfortable for yourself.

The room is so cozy, the interior design is absolutely gorgeous, being in that room gives me a good mood. The bathroom has all the things we needed, very modern and clean. The house on the outside looks like a typical Dutch house, but the inside is more modern than quite some hotels.

When you book, precisely specify room off the busy road. Road was too close to our windows as we are light sleepers. That was the only thing we did not like but again you are in town and dvantge is close proximity to all atractions of Dokkum.

Big room, nice decor, brand new facilities, coffee and tea facilities in the room.Fast internet, free parking. Very good communiction.Easy check in and out.Polite staff. Very much recommended.

Quaint, quiet hotel in an excellent location by a scenic canal near the town centre. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was fine, but we had to ask for milk for the cereal + tea, as there was none out. Not a problem, as we were given some immediately. The Frisian cinnamon-sugar bread in the breakfast selection was really delicious with our tea / coffee.

A pretty old house right in the center of beautiful Dokkum. Rooms featuring many details and combining modern state of the art amenities with the historic charme of an old house to perfection. Staff was very friendly amd the restaurant offered creative cuisine with a local touch. For sure a top option when staying in Dokkum.

Yes, the rooms are large, clean, quiet, have excellent air conditioning, and superb showers. But what really sets the hotel apart is the service level provided by the outstanding staff. Every staff member we encountered was helpful, friendly, and kind. Oh yes….and the breakfast was terrific.

Noisy. Even though it’s a new extension and well insulated the windows had vents on them, which, even when closed, let the road noise in.

The waterflow of the shower is sufficient but for comfort I like more. Of course it is understandable considering the energy-crise.

There were not a lot of parking spaces but to be fair there are not a lot of people so it makes sense. What really bothered me is that I mentioned that I am celiac several times (when booking the hotel, when checking in, mentionend it to the employee when I checked in and she said that it is no problem and they got something gluten free for me) but there was never anything organised for breakfest. The first day at breakfest the employee asked me if I did not mention it and they do not have anything for me which I could eat. The second day they still did not have anything.

It was quite a small but very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Employees are super friendly. Location was also very good.

The bedsides kept pushing away and created a large hole in the middle. The bathroom had a poor smell because of the groundwater and the coffee machine didn't work correctly.

The room was pretty big and good looking.
