We stayed in July. Our room was hot, and the single window it had was very close to the road outside. The room could also use a brighter lamp.

This place has a great patio and balcony with splendid views over the city. The room and ensuite bathroom were clean. The breakfast in the morning was abundant.

It was up a very steep hill from the town and there were a lot of steps to the rooms. The drink making facilities were on the bottom floor, milk was on the top floor, there was no choice of drinks

The room might feel a bit outdated and having to drag your stuff 2 floors up or down can be a bit of a hassle.

The breakfast was really nice and they have a very nice view of the city. The room itself was good too with a view. Parking is not a problem as you get a ticket to park in the streets that are usually limited for 4 hours only. The place itself is in a quiet neighbourhood.

The bathroom "door" was almost totally transparent and had a little dim glass wall too. Between the "door" and the wall there was a 2 cm gap, so it was quite uncomfortable to use the toilet...

Except for the room was small, almost everything was OK. The view to the city was great (room 403!) The included breakfast was more than substantial.

The photos show tables set for dinner, their own website speaks of selecting fresh, local ingredients and the visit Narvik site lists them as good restaurant however they do not serve dinner. This was a huge disappointment as we chose it for not having to go out every night and local cuisine. There was often no hot water left for hot showers after skiing.

Beautiful views and friendly staff. Cosy lounge with coffee, tea and cake or waffles every afternoon.

Shower was too small, water went out and made the floor wet. Toilet door don’t completely close so you don’t have privacy, plus it’s transparent and you can see inside

In order to have great views, quite a bit of an uphill walk is required to get there. The room is nice, but the shower, though good enough, is a tiny cubicle.

Room was spacious and comfortable, very nice overall. Both the restaurant and the room have amazing views of the city and the mountains around it. Just spectacular!

It seems to be a Norwegian thing in general but there's no parking at the hotel (except for a lucky three people who get there first). Parking on the street is available, but anxiety would have been greatly reduced by instructions about the options in advance and a map at the desk or in the room. (There's a nice map of area restaurants provided in the room, so why not more practical information too?)

Everything is done well here: all is clean, there is a nice common area with lovely views, breakfast is excellent, atmosphere is good. Would return without hesitation.

I don't really have any negatives, other than to note that Breidablikk is "uphill" from downtown Narvik, and travelers on foot should be aware that they will be walking up-slope for parts of their approach to the facility. In winter-time (I was there in March) that means there will be snow and ice to deal with. But, that's the price one pays for an elevated view, I suppose.

The breakfast area provides a wonderful view of Narvik and surroundings. My room was quite comfortable and sufficiently-roomy for a solo traveller. The property's location is quiet.
