The house is big, charming and extremely clean. It provides everything one needs in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Very much appreciated the white, spotless sheets and bedding. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Quiet and peaceful area but still very easy to reach the town centre and the cruise terminal. Easy check-in and check-out, large parking area in front of the house and a very cute front yard. We highly recommend this property to anyone that wishes for a perfect stay in Flam.

Absolutely beautiful home on the outskirts of Flåm…only a short 15 minute walk to town. We were there for just one night, but it was very clean, the kitchen had everything you’d need and it had a rustic, comfortable charm about it. We only used two rooms, but there were at least two more available upstairs. This would be a great place for a family getaway. Bonus: a short walk from a trail leading up to the waterfall overlooking Flåm.

Positives The location is around half a mile walk to the Flam train station. Walking up to the house at night is not advisable as there are no street lamps. Bring a flashlight 🔦 with you if you arrive late. Your landmark will be the fall that is right across the house. The house is colored white next to the red house, which is another hostel like accommodation. Leaving the house checkout to the Flam train station, we opted for the shuttle car, which is 75KR per person. We didn't feel like lugging our luggage around. So you do have the option for the car shuttle if you want. Waterfalls It is near the waterfalls, which is really nice waking up in the morning and just watching the scenery. Negative It would have been nice if they provided coffee or tea. Overall, it was a comfortable nice accommodation.

There were zero basic supplies in the house, no laundry detergent, no salt, pepper, sugar, or coffee. We had to buy everything. I had to download the oven manual to know how to operate it. There's a built-in fridge that doesn't work, so another fridge was available, but it suggested the house may not be well maintained. The foam soap dispenser in the shower was strange (makes sense at a sink but not in a shower).

The house is very spacious, with a beautiful location convenient to the central part of Flåm, very comfortable beds, and a nice washing machine.

The house was absolutely beautiful with ample space for an adult family to spread out, kitchen was well equipped and had a beautiful view of a waterfall, beds were comfortable and area was quiet enough to sleep with windows open.

That it was farther from town than we realized and we needed rides to/from town….. Directions for how to use the washer and laundry soap would have been nice….

Has a farmhouse /country feel and has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay…..the beds were comfortable and we slept well…. The views were amazing….can see the waterfall from the front porch…

The hosts were warm and arranged an alternative stay for us since the original property had some ongoing issue. They upgraded us to a beautiful property and made sure we didn't have to look for last minute arrangements.

Poor checkin process. Resulted in people who were supposed to be in the lower storey unit , were in the upper storey unit when we arrived. Total mix up. Also lack of essentials like microwave, iron & hairdryer.

The cooking plate didn't work and there was no hot water. The phone wasn't picked up and not returned and my mail unanswered, even a reminder mail to try to solve the problem a few days later. The house is totally outdated with old furniture, broken electricity plugs which are dangerously removed from the wall and the smoke detectors not replaced. Lots of lamps don't work but especially the total lack of communication or feedback is very sad. If you then see what they charge the house, it's a total waste of money.
