Location, vibe. Food was nice. New room. Free parking.

Can’t really think of anything

We had a reasonably pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was a bit small and very warm, but much was made up for by the excellent shower and especially by the warm welcome and attentive care of our host Wojciech.

Clean. Very good breakfast.

Very clean, friendly and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast with option to make sandwiches to go. Also the water in the shower was good pressure and plenty hot.

It’s an old building so you can hear a lot through the walls - not people talking but doors opening and closing, toilets flushing, crunching on gravel outside. My bed was comfortable but there was only one very flat pillow which is a completely inadequate for side sleeping.

Everything professional and modern

Considering the general high class, I was surprised the bathroom floors are ice cold and not even a rug/towel is provided. Also a standard cappuccino is not part of the otherwise nice breakfast offering.

Great location with beautiful scenery. Quiet, but close to cross-country slopes and mountain skiing trails. Very clean room. Good breakfast.

Nice relaxation area. Good selection for breakfast. Comfortable beds, hot shower. Pleasant staff with advance warning that restaurant was closed

Lots of taxidermy. Bunk was very comfortable but top bunk may be difficult for less agile people.

The staff was incredible and helped me to set up many things regarding my cycle across Norway, e.g. dry my wet gear and remove sand from my bicycle. The breakfast was superb, as well!

Excellent food! Dinner was absolutely perfect,including the service . About 21km away from the main road,driving and feeling like there is nothing around us except the beautiful nature but then we reached this cosy , interesting hotel ! Friendly staff, especially during dinner.

Location, cleanliness, staff and parking (right outside my room!) were all good. Not exceptional, but good.

Room: Too hot! Tiny window could be opened but it was not enough. Mattress topper kept sliding off as well, which got annoying fast. Restaurant: Burger was a bit bland, but was saved by the fries which were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Breakfast was good, but they were a bit slow to refill, especially fruits, pastries and hot foods.

The breakfast was great and staff flexible with our request for hot water into our thermos! After-hours arrival was no problem.

A few EV chargers for overnight stays would be great. There is a supercharger nearby but that is an extra 20 minutes, while an overnight charge only takes 1 minute of your time.

The beds were amazing. Lots of space to socialize. The staff was top notch.

It is a modern place with a cozy "fjellstue" atmosphere. It was almost empty at our visit but it was still warm and cozy and the food was lovely. We ate next to the fire which had this smell that fires only high in the mountains have. The owner was there himself and was both charming, helpful and informative and you could tell he took a keen interest in his hotel. We got upgraded to an apartment with a small kitchenet etc. I'm not a clean freak but this place showed me that there is clean and then there is sparkling. If I hadn't know better I would have guessed the room and everything in it had just come out of the packaging. The glasses/plates/forks etc. wasn't just clean they were spotless and so was the inside of the fridge (I wish mine looked like this). The breakfast buffet was plentiful even if we were less than 10 guests and everything was topped up constantly. Everything was fresh/warm etc. as applicable and the staff was charming and helpful and had time for my endless questions about history/where they come from/how it is to live in the mountains etc. All answered and explained with a smile. An absolutely lovely place and again for once the top mark for cleanliness is simply not adequate for this place.

I find it very hard to answer this question when I've been singing a places praises. I'm not put together to find fault when my overall experience is of pure bliss. I maybe wish that the snow had been snow and not sleet, and that the water had boilt at 96 degrees rather than 97 at this height...
