Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NorwayExtra costs for everything: parking - no free parking for the guests, pool - no free entrance for guests. Restaurant - food is either too salty or you get honey on the pizza. The service in the restaurant were very good, but not food.
Good service and friendly staff, the pool is big, deep and warm. Amazing for adults and kids. Breakfast is the best I ever had in the hotel, very good. The atmosphere is amazing, it gave us what we were looking for. The gaming room and billiard very cool.

NorwayThe swimming pool - it is advertised as having 4 swimming pools but it is just one pool, split into sections. The pool is also just for children. We thought there would be the opportunity to swim but there really isn’t. There was no air conditioning and the rooms were incredibly warm.
The breakfast, and the room was big

United KingdomThe pool is very cold. Lovely but due to being so cold with a tiny jacuzzi only (always full to the brim with people since the pools were cold) meant we largely sat by the pool side while the kids swam. The locker rooms also were odd. Our locker was given away one day and we came home to our stuff being out of the lockers and we had only a smaller locker as a temporary for the day while we waiting for another 4 person one to come free. Really the locker system shouldn’t allow other people to get a used locker. The hotel felt very safe so I want concerned about theft but this was very annoying as I had bits of kit that I wasn’t using that day which needed storing. I think staff would just take a verbal say-so from someone that their locker number was what they said. This means that it allowed other people to basically steal your locker the room also was very dark with odd storage. One was for drying clothes so very handy I will andmit. Only tiny shelves for clothes in the darkest part of the room. I couldn’t see anything. We also had a broken shelf In the drying cupboard that wasn’t possible to fix so couldn’t use this. We want to come again next year as everything else was good but the pool was a real down side as this forms a big part of a ski holiday for me. Usually places I go have outdoor jacuzzis and this doesn’t. I thought with a nice indoor pool would off set this but the adults couldn’t use it.
The lobby/bar open areas were great. Better than he year before for seating. Lovely staff and sorted issues fast. Eating places were nice. The hotel is right by the nursery slopes and easy access via lift or short walk to the main slopes too. Truly ski in ski out. We went with friends and the lovely relaxed communal areas allowed for large groups sitting together with ease. The bar area was the same. The restaurant for breakfast also had large tables which was great. The system for the evening buffet is very odd. Reservations simply allow people to join a very long line. 7:30 reservations had us seated around 8:15 and lots of the food was gone and wasn’t being remade. No desserts. Quite expensive considering this. I wouldn’t book half board for this reason. If you do go to the restaurant you must arrive 30 mins before your booking and join the line. If you know the system I think it works fine. Food quality was actually good.

EstoniaIt was not possible to pay less, even though we were traveling as two people, not four as originally booked (because one of the children got sick). The sofa in our room wasn't very comfortable as it kept falling apart.
Location was great (next to the slopes) and there was also ski lockers room, where you could almost ski in :) Our (standard) room was a bit small, but cosy enough for two persons. We enjoyed the breakfast and that we did not pay extra for any services (ski locker, swimming pool and sauna, gym).

United KingdomBreakfast - run out of cups, orange juice, certain cereals. Lots of tables uncleared, perhaps more staff are needed in this area. Coffee machine - regularly running out of milk, and staff needing to constantly top it up or being asked to when they are busy. Hill Buffet - ate here once, food was very basic and not the best choices and personally didn’t feel it was good value for money compared to other choices.
Location of hotel for skiing to slopes. Facilities for children - flow rider, pool, sauna Mt. Mocca - nice coffee in here. Brasserie T - best meal La Piazza - really good pizzas, good value for money.

United Arab EmiratesThe bathroom of the standard room is ineffectively designed, including not having an entire shower cabin, any wall warmer for drying towels, etc. The facility is ski-in; however, it is not a good ski-out except for new beginners and kids. You must walk at least 200-250 meters uphill to reach the main lift. The Skistar app is the overall backbone of all bookings in the report. However, it did not work out for our credit cards from 3 different countries. The hotel does not offer ski rental nor a deal for discounted ski rental as the audience is probably expected to bring their own or walk to the center to get it. On another note, the rental was quick and good. Overall, the hotel's restaurant booking system is a little complicated and takes time for staff and guests. The ski area infrastructure is also little aging and has malfunctioned several times
Extremely professional and helpful staff, great standard room with amenities, very nice spa, and fantastic mini water park, bowling facilities, ski-in, and ski locker room, excellent food in restaurants, moderate food in an open buffet, great breakfast, cleanliness of the whole facility / The ski slopes are well maintained and offers variety for all levels for skiers and snowboarders alike. Night skiing also has a little exciting flavor on top of it.
