Just like many other old structures, beds and pillows were a bit too soft.

Hotel with essential services in the middle of this small town. We were just two adults travelling and, despite what we saw in other comments, we didn´t find the room too small. It is certainly not very big but our room was big enough to accomodate two adults and two suitcases. We were welcomed by a very friendly Germany Lady. Breakfast wasn´t very rich but there was plenty of food for a sweet or savory meal.

My room 301 was right next to the elevator, which made a lot of noise and was used from 5.19 in the morning which woke me up very early.

Room was on the underground and from the parking area you could look inside our room as we didnt had curtain. No mirror in the room.

The room was very small with a tiny bathroom but it did have an excellent shower. Breakfast was chaotic as everybody was there at the same time and they ran out of just about everything.

The hotel was in a very good location , we had a room overlooking the harbour which was picture perfect. In the corridor was a small kitchen unit which you could use, it had a kettle, fridge and coffee machine (filter coffee). If you like a good dinner with a fabulous garden and view over the bay just walk out of the hotel across the road to Villa Rosehagen, not cheap but well worth it. You are about a 10 minute drive away from Preikestolen.

There’s a foul smell upon entering the building which disappears after entering the room. The room is rather basic too.

The location was absolutely perfect for going on walks in the local area. Serves as an excellent base for Preikestolen.

The room wasn't very clean: crumbs on the chair, hairs ... on the floor, the drain clogged and cold water comes warm for several minutes. Especially the kitchen (refrigerator) was distgusting.

This property has a lot of potentials. They need to maintain the cleanliness of the room especially the bathroom. It is kind of disgusting. If they manage to keep everything clean, this place is a real deal.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I came back late after hiking the pulpit rock and the were kind enough to let me check out late.

I was given room 100 overlooking the rubbish bins and below the hotel’s car park and not at all what is shown in the photos. Very disappointing. The self-checkin information was not sent via booking and they forced me to pay for an international call to get it. They said an SMS was sent but it was never received, and insisted that this was the way they communicated with guests. This was not very friendly.

A small desk would have been nice, the room is quite small to fit it in, but switching the bedside table for a small desk should be doable in my opinion.

Nicely renovated hotel, very thing looked quite new and fresh. The bed was a bit bigger then I expected and of great quality. Breakfast was fine, not a huge selection, but the normal things you expect where available. The wifi worked great.
