Beautiful location, great views even though the property isn’t next to the water. The lake is steps away and there are kayaks and rowboats for free use. Great host.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this beautiful spot right on the water. The location is simply perfect, peaceful, scenic, and ideal for relaxing or exploring the area. One of the highlights for us was the free access to kayaks and SUP boards. We were out on the water every day! The cabin itself was very comfortable, and the surroundings were stunning. The owners were lovely- responsive, helpful, and even came by from time to time to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nature getaway with a personal touch!

We stayed to little, next time we will return for a full week to have time to enjoy all the wonderful site seeing.

The location is right on the lake, breathtaking view, really nice house, host incredible nice and welcoming. We found everything we needed inside and our booking easily accomodated 4 adults and 2 children.

Beautiful location, very friendly hosts and easy access to the Lake with provided Kayaks, Rowing boat and paddle boards. Use of nearby soccer/football field an added bonus for sporty kids.

We had a great stay in the very spacious and comfortable one-bedroom apartment and the hosts were very nice and helpful. I strongly recommend Vollsnes Feriehus.

Unique. Every road trip through Norway is worth making a detour here. Breathtaking views, free boat and kayak rental. The host was incredibly kind and showed us everything we needed to know. Far away from the usual tourist crowds. Everyone fell in love with this small, peaceful place – a hidden gem that leaves a lasting impression. Sadly we stayed only one Night. This was definitely not our last visit.

Absolutely amazing location. The view, living quarters and staff was amazing. The house we stayed in was very newly renovated and modern. About a 30 minute drive to the closest city (with more stores and whatnot.) Camping places along the roads, aswell as sauna locations not too far from the house.

Just a small niggle was the size of the bedrooms, they are tiny with a double bed pushed up against the wall, if you were sharing it would have been a struggle but.... You are only sleeping in there

Everything!!! Lovely cabin and the perfect spot to relax. Access to paddle boards, kyaks, bike's etc was brilliant The host was just lovely, wish we could have stayed longer

One of the showers was not sealed properly on the bottom and water ended up covering most of the floor.

Beautiful views from the terrace….glaciers, water,mountains…what’s not to like! We dealt only with the owner and she was so helpful and accommodating. After we were denied service at a local hotel restaurant because we were not registered guests there, she went above and beyond by calling another restaurant and arranging reservations for us. God blessed us with breathtaking scenery and a delicious meal.

I wish, I knew complete set of toiletries are not included but it makes sense not to include them as this is an apartment style rental.

Everything about this location was magnificent. The house is placed in a fairytale location right in between the fjords and water body. The color of the water body changes through out Norway and the highlight of the stay here is the turquoise color of the water body touching the property. The room itself was spacious & clean. Ground floor has 2 bedrooms and bathroom. First floor is the kitchen and tv area. This place has a washer which we did not experience anywhere else. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the most authentic way to experience Norway. The host were honest, warm, welcoming & always there if you needed anything. It was pouring on the day we went to this location but we felt like we could just sit in our house and experience what we had visited Norway for. The beautiful fjord.

We loved everything.

We loved the location right on the lake and with a beautiful view of the mountains and multiple glaciers. Our 1-bedroom cottage is modern and lovely, with a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, drying rack and all the comforts of home. Free use of stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes. The Segestad trailhead is very close to the cottage and the hike is beautiful! Grocery store a less than 5-minute drive away. Kari-Ann and her father are wonderful hosts, always available and doing everything they could to ensure a great stay. We were even given their homemade apple cider, made from apples organically grown onsite. Delicious! We highly recommend this property.
