I can honestly say there's was nothing i didn't like. I struggled with the fan as it was super hot in monsoon season but that's just me.

I had the most amazing time at Andrew home. The bedroom was huge. Big wardrobe two chairs and a big comfortable double bed. There is a kitchen with all the amenities that you need. Fridge gas stove and plenty of utensils. There are two bathrooms which are always super clean with food water by and cold. If I needed anything Andrew was always willing to help. You have so much privacy but can also socialise with him if it suits. I would actually consider Andrew a friend now as we had some really good times together and he is an exceptional cook 🙂

The room is large, clean and tidy. The landlord is very enthusiastic. When we checked in, he will go downstairs to help us carry our luggage in person. He will greet us every day when we go out to play.If I go back to Katmandu, I will choose here again.

A great place to stay on the edge of Thamel but without any of the noise as it is down an alleyway in a residential apartment block. Spotless. Big bedroom. Water heater is a bit of a challenge but gives hot water. We had the large ensuite room. You need to be able to contact Andrew before you arrive as there are two potential locked gates and his door is locked as well - send approximate arrival time. It’s a bit hard to find - last building on the left beyond the small shrine.

Andrew Is the best owner i could find, friendly, smiling and always available to take care about your needs. Last day i forgot my shoes in the apartment and he permits to come back after few days to take back. No one was present in the apartment but he called the last floor family to give me keys and take shoes. Thanks for everything!

In a blue room bathroom is not attached, to get there you need to cross a hall, but it was not a big deal.

Room is very spacious and clean. Super comfortable bed. Good kitchen that is very convenient. Hot water and good Wi-Fi. Everything was amazing actually.

This was my third time at Andrew home. And as always, it was a very nice stay. Everything was perfect. I was picked up. My room was, as always, very clean and you have everything you need. The shared guest kitchen is a great place to socialize with other guests. It is only 10 minutes to the center of Thamel. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The accommodation has a nice Nepalese flair. Thanks to the host for this wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

Andrew was attentive, picked me up from the airport and helped get a SIM card and even took me out to play football and Snooker as well as a hike. I would consider him a friend going forward and recommend anyone to stay with him.

Really I can't find something to think of. I haven't tried breakfast, because I always have breakfast outside. It is a typical apartment in Kathmandu so the outside looks like you live in this, not always well maintained, city but that's what you should expect when you are staying in a local apartment in stead of a fancy hotel. For me that's the charm of staying in local places, that not everything is perfect, but you really feel how it is like to be part of the city

The service of this place is amazing. Andrew is a truly genuine, caring and helpful person and host. He will help you with anything if necessary, but also leaves you to do your own thing. The rooms are really spacious and clean and if you finally know your way around the shower it is also really good (a good shower is hard to find in Nepal of you are not in a 4-5 star place). Location is perfect, really close to everything in the centre, but not too chaotic and noisy as the rest of the city.
