Very spacious apartment with cozy beds and a huge kitchen and living room. Also the hosts are very helpful and try to accommodate any wishes. You can even leave a backpack there for a few days if you wish to go trekking

It is a very good place - tonns of sun. completely private and yet at middle of everything. Sudarshan sir was very helpful and available for any query we had. If I am nitpicking - there is no power backup. but you don't need it a lot. And there is an emergency lamp - plus WiFi works even in case of a power cut.

Many locks to get in via gate, starcase door and flat door are quirky. More towels would have been nice, especially one floor towel. The shower works with buthane gas which smells and gives very low flow.

This rooftop studio was a great place to stay for a week in Kathmandu. It is in the historic/old city part of Kathmandu, but it's easy to get a bike or taxi nearby. The room is clean, comfortable, and furnished well. There is a kitchen, though I didn't end up using it. The bathroom is clean and modern, and it was really great to have a washing machine too. Sudarshan ji and his family are very kind and helpful! Make sure to bring earplugs, because the area gets quite loud from around 5 am onwards (roosters, dogs, temple bells, etc.) But that's part of the vibe!

The apartment was located on a high floor, accessible via stairs (4th floor). The hosts were very helpful and kindly assisted us with carrying our luggage up when we arrived and down again when we left, so that helped a lot

We had a wonderful stay, and the hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful with everything. The apartment was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, and well-equipped with a small kitchen, a washing machine, and a large terrace with a lovely view. The location is situated on a quiet little street away from traffic noise.

Rooftop Studio, is a perfect place for those who are looking for a great time to spend in Kathmandu with own cooking skills. Me and my friend actually drove all away from Darjeeling to Kathmandu and was looking for a place where could have a great time staying in an apartment with kitchen. This was an awesome place, in the heart of Kathmandu, Near Durbar Square, where everything is nearby. In terms of, walk around the town, shopping, visiting, food and ambience this place is more than the perfect. Sudarshan ji, the owner of the property is a very humble host and he is always available whenever you need something. We have already fixed a next booking for a month next year. I must say, it is definitely a home away from home. I wish them a very best wishes for the future and definitely 5 * Statr rating from my side.

Amazing little apartment , top of the building, secure, lovely views of authentic Kathmandu area, no tourists, easy walk to the square And thamel, felt very at home And super happy, also has secure bike parking, hot shower, good wifi, rooftop, washing machine, fridge and water and blankets and a yoga mat and maps and all sorts of advice from the family, it's literally like being Guest of a nepali family in your own flat at the top of the building. What more do you want

Beyond their control, the volume of the area is unavoidable indoors. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Sudarshan and his son are wonderfully kind and super helpful. While my driver was running late with an unexpected stop, they waited for me on the street to guide me to the apartment. They were always accessible for any questions during our stay and provided suggestions when I asked for them. The flat is centrally located between two areas of interest, Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Very easy to walk to both. The home is very clean, has windows in every room, and is in a modern building surrounded by older traditional brick buildings in an active area full of locals.
