The accommodation was quite perfect and exceeded all our expectations. I don’t where else you can get such a quality service for this price per night. I hope, my friend and I come back again. Special thank you to the owner of the place, who has contacted us day before our arrival and was willing to help with navigation.

The location is the walking distance to Bardiya National Park. The property also arranges safaris to the Community Park where you can see Bengal Tigers, Elephants, Deers, Rhinos, and many birds. The staff are all helpful to make your stay most pleasant.

What a gem. I have been to Bardiya three times and Wildplanet is king. The rooms are comfortable, the property is beautiful, the village is charming, and the staff welcomes you like family. I seriously love this place. The other reviews will rave about the legend that is Baba and his team and their efforts in conservation and educaiton and talent as guides - but one aspect I don't see discussed is the quality of traveler Wildplanet attracts. Every night I seem to find myself engaged in fireside chats with the most fascinating of people. A constant stream of passionate thinkers, wildlife scientists, curious travelers and wild adventurers. Love it!

Excellent stay. Baba and Dave were the best host, with a very warm welcoming and chill sharing moments. The cottage are comfy and clean. And the feeling of peace and disconnection there are amazing. They are very also very good organizers. I did a Safari jeep tour, and even if the season was not the best to see the Tiger, they did all the best to find animals during the whole day! Their knowledge is amazing. We saw 2 very rare birds species! Ask them to do the tree house experience in the middle of the jungle, a changing and wonderful experience !

A Truly Unforgettable Experience – My Second Visit and Already Planning the Next! I recently returned to Wild Planet Eco Lodge for the second time, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The stay was not only comfortable and beautifully immersed in nature, but the wildlife tours were the real highlight. What sets this place apart are the guides – they are more than just guides. They are passionate conservationists with deep knowledge and genuine respect for the wildlife and ecosystem. Every tour felt like a journey through their personal experiences, filled with fascinating stories about animals and conservation efforts in the region. I learned so much, not just about the wildlife, but about the importance of preserving it. The atmosphere at the lodge is serene, eco-conscious, and perfectly blends adventure with relaxation. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by the sounds of the wild, this is the place. This was my second stay, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again. Wild Planet Eco Lodge has truly captured my heart!

I spent 4 unforgettable days at Wild Planet Eco Retreat — an amazing experience! I had two thrilling tiger encounters, and also saw elephants, a rhino, 5 types of deer, 2 types of monkeys, and so much more. Bardia is truly the best place to explore wildlife. The staff were professional, passionate, and made me feel at home. I’ll definitely be back again!

I spent 8 days at Wild Planet whilst on wildlife safaris in the Bardiya National Park. Baba was amazing and ensured that I had the best time. We saw 8 tigers in 5 days including the opportunity to get out of the jeep and photograph them on foot. We also saw elephants and rhinos every day as well as lots of other wildlife. My trip was everything that I hoped for and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to see tigers!

Baba, Prakash and Dave are exceptional guides and you will get for sure a warm welcome. They do fantastic safaris and you feel their passion for wildlife. Had a great time seeing a lot of wildlife! Couldn't have asked for more. 👌 Their place is small but cosy and you can relax under some trees when you have a rest day. Don't expect high luxury but this is not what you probably came for. If you want to have the best safaris, these are your guys to go with. I came back even after 7 years to see wildlife in Bardia NP with them. So, it will be for sure an experience to remember :D

We were so happy that we chose this place, staff is super sweet and helpful and will go out of their way to give you the best experience both in the safari and the homestay. It’s only a few minutes from the national park, very quiet place you can also walk to the river. There are lots of places to sit with everyone outside your room and there’s a bonfire in the evening. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, rooms are clean and comfortable, food was good, cute dog!!! Highly recommend

Baba is extremely passionate about conservation and offering an experience that will not be forgotten. He is persistent and relentless in his pursuit of tiger encounters, with his contagious enthusiasm and keen insight into the tiger's psychic spurring guests on. As a result, I had a rhino and two tiger experiences that are hard to beat. The gardens of the retreat are tranquil and inviting. An added bonus is that it is located directly behind the National Park, making access easy. All staff made us feel extremely welcome!

Baba,Prakash and their team are passionate about conservation and giving their guests as good an experience as possible. The garden is lovely to sit in, or lie on a charpoy and watch the dozens of birds around. The team are attentive and kind. The trips into the jungle are superb. I recently stayed at wildplanetecoRetreat and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in the heart of bardia national Park, this hotel offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience nature at its finest. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the local wildlife and ecosystems. imagine waking up to the sounds of birdsong and catching glimpses of wildlife right from your room’s balcony! We were lucky enough to see tiger rhino and elephant which made the experience even more magical. The guided wildlife tours were a highlight, led by expert naturalists who truly cared about conservation and ensuring we had a respectful and immersive experience in the animals' natural habitat. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with a rustic charm, perfectly blending luxury and nature. The best place on earth! We had an absolutely amazing stay, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. We needed a tent, and Baba, the owner of the place, personally arranged for it to be delivered from Kathmandu to the village. If you’re looking for safari tours, this is the perfect spot – truly the best experience ever!

We spent 4 days at Wildlife Planet and we definitely hope to be back one day. Lovely to walk around the area, tranquil place if you want to relax with spacious outdoor areas to do so, great food & very close to the National Park Entrance. Baba and all the guides' passion for wildlife and conservation were heartwarming to observe and admire. They definitely try their best to show you the wild, without being invasive to the wildlife and always respectful. Best wildlife experiences ever 😁! Also, appreciated the ecofriendliness not only in name; packed lunch during tours with no plastic and reusable stuff, refillable water available & encouraged. I hope the whole area remains this sustainable for years to come.

Main focus on tigers, like most people in Bardiya I guess. So much great nature around, we didnt come for tigers but felt disappointed leaving without seeing them since everybody was just talking about seeing tigers. All other species seem to be less important.

Very nice local business of two brothers born in the village honestly trying to protect this beautiful nature area.
