It was advertised as having meals available at lunch and supper time but only breakfast was available at the hotel. Although there was a take away remote option available. Only one towel was provided for 2 people.

Breakfast was good. Overall it was good value for money.

A very easy location. Room was not large, but big enough for 2 people and luggage,vand quite comfortable. Appreciated the Filtered water available to fill up your bottles. There were a number of nice sitting areas including garden and balcony. Owners kindly looked after our bags while we went off trekking. Would recommend Fresco Retreat for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at Fresco Retreat. The staff were attentive and made me feel right at home. The room and the bed we're comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.

A refrigerator would be a nice touch. To me it is more important than TV. If not possible in every room, there may be a shared one in the common living area. Hot water was limited on cloudy days, which are most days during monsoon season, as apparently it comes from solar heater.

The location is excellent; Jawalakhel seems one of the nicest neighborhoods in Lalitpur district, far from city noise yet within walking distance to many amenities (groceries, cafes, banks, pharmacies, and mall). Reasonable distance by taxi to the main Kathmandu university, Tribhuvan. The rooms are modest size, yet they share a spacious common seating area that significantly expands their utility. Room service was satisfactory most of the time, and if they forgot something, they were standing by to replenish it. Standard breakfast (sandwiches, eggs, fruit, and fresh juice) occasionally was enriched with local dishes such as paratha which was a nice touch.

No Lift Facility and need to walk few minutes to reach main road

Breakfast Excellent. They served additional food items out of set menu everyday at free of cost with smiling face. Staffs are also guest friendly and with alway smiling face

Sorry to mention it but the staffs aren’t as professional as they should be, especially the front (reception). Though it’s passable. I enjoyed my time.

"Perfect Relaxing Retreat!" I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this bed and breakfast! The serene location and spotless property made for a perfect getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist. The adorable dog on-site added an extra touch of charm. Keep clean, great bathroom, great service, very nice interiors. Very quiet neighborhood and close to happening neighborhoods and restaurants. Comfortable beds.

The breakfast is terrible. Coleslaw sandwiches one morning and then salad and biscuts the next? No one eats this for breakfast. We tried to order an omelet but it never came. Also hot water is not reliable.

The rooms are quite nice and comfortable.
