AC has no thermostat ie does not turn off when temperature reached like 17 degree...had to turn it off as cold air kept blowing...having a thermostat would be a good idea.

Breakfast was freshly made. it was Ala carte but thought it would be buffet. food was good and made as per menu they gave me. me and my son had simple breakfast and were happy with it

Highly recommended! The staff at Hotel Friend's Home were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Kathmandu. Sorry to be this detailed but I found a cockroach in one of the rooms and I guess that’s because we’re in city center but needs to be properly cleaned

The location is centrally located and close to everything! The staffs are super nice. The owner is also a great man who has his own tour company and is willing to set that up for you.

Current renovations are taking care of the few (very few!) minor problems.

HFH is in the tourist area of Thamel but everything you need is nearby and taxis are always available and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were a few little issues but they are renovating and fixing these. Breakfasts were good but best of all was the staff. They were polite, friendly and eager to help. I would stay there again in a heartbeat 💓

There was some remodeling work in progress. Not too noisy though.

Amazing and friendly staff always willing to ensure that our stay is great. Rooms are very spacious. This is our fourth time to stay here. The staff and manager are all great.
