The furnishings are a little old, and the bedsheets sometimes didn't fit quite right. But it was no big deal at all.

We loved the restaurant. The food was good and the staff of the hotel and restaurant was so accomodating and nice. The location was perfect,, as it was quiet and yet you could easily walk to everything. It was handy that they had a laundry service and provided excursions including transportation. This place was a GREAT deal.

The balcony was small – more suited for smokers than for sitting comfortably. The rooftop terrace seemed a bit abandoned. There were signs saying to contact the reception in case you wanted food or drinks (with a phone provided), but at night it was just dark, unlike the rooftops of some other hotels nearby.

What made our stay perfect was the staff – especially two young ladies whose names I, unfortunately, can't remember. :) The room was spacious enough and comfortable. The only downside was the shower curtain, which wasn't very practical – water tended to splash everywhere. However, the hotel provided hard slippers, which helped. Other than that, we really have no complaints. Breakfast was very good, with eggs (even à la carte, as well as coffee), fresh fruit, cheese, some noodles, salami, pastries, juice... There are plenty of food, travel, and laundry options nearby, which is very convenient.

We stayed here before and after our trek and we used to dream about coming back here while enduring the hardships of some of the trekking accommodation. This place was wonderful before we left and it felt like paradise when we returned ! The staff were particularly diligent and helpful and the buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel of this level.

Everything! Stayed at this hotel for the third time during my trip to Nepal. Again, the staff are just lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms and beds are very clean and comfortable, with great views from the balconies. If I go back to kathmandu, I will definitely stay here again. Couldn't ask for anything more!

-The Triple-Bedded Room lacked seating options like a sofa or chairs, which was a bit disappointing. -The balcony of the Triple-Bedded Room was a major letdown—it was extremely dirty and covered in pigeon droppings, making it unusable.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a generally positive experience. Situated just a two-minute walk from Thamel, it offers the convenience of being close to the vibrant area while remaining tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. We booked a Triple-Bedded Room and a Double-Bedded Room. Both were spacious and comfortable, with the Double-Bedded Room standing out as our favorite. It featured cozy beds and large windows that allowed plenty of sunlight to brighten the space. One of the highlights of our stay was the terrace. We absolutely loved it! The terrace offered excellent views of Kathmandu city and the surrounding hills, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a generous spread of delicious options. The coffee, in particular, was noteworthy. The owner, Mr. Hari, was incredibly helpful. He assisted us in arranging a car for sightseeing and for our transfer to Nagarkot, all at reasonable rates. Despite a few drawbacks, this hotel is a good choice for staying in Kathmandu. It strikes a great balance by being close to the lively Thamel area while offering a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle.

It was my first time in kathmandu, and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. On arrival I was given a drink and all the staff were very welcoming and polite. The room was very clean and spacious, bigger than I expected from the photos. The shower in my private bathroom was just great, proper hot water and so much pressure. I ate at the restaurant my 1st night, and the vegetable thakali set was delicious and very filling. A great introduction to nepali food. I also like where the hotel is in relation to Thamel. It's just at the edge of the main area, so you can be in the middle of Thamel in about 5 minutes of walking, but it is very nice and quiet in the evening. I like the place so much I have stayed there twice already and am staying again before I leave Nepal. Can't recommend this place enough.
