Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Great room with a great view down the valley. It is family run and they couldn't be more kind, welcoming and friendly. I had a problem with getting my phone's sim card tray open, and I was sent down to see the owners son Dawa in the shop below the hotel. He had it opened in no time which allowed me to continue taking as many photos as I wanted for the rest of my 3 week trip. The food was also excellent, delicious and very generous portions. It was so good I stayed again when I returned to namche, and will stay again if I return.

Almost everything was perfect. A good hotel like facilities for the price of a lodge on the Everest base camp trek. Meticulously designed and clean rooms, very warm due to double insulation. Even the washroom was insulated, such a blessing in the cold. Comfortable beds and clean washrooms. And the charging and wifi is free in the room price, which is not common in places at such altitude. The restaurant was almost like a fine dining with attentive service, great food, presented aesthetically. Dinner started with warm towels, which is a luxury in such cold weather. The lady running the lodge was extremely warm, friendly and hospitable. She even kept our extra luggage and didn't charge although I didn't stay at her place during return. Very touched with her hospitality.

IrelandWe loved our stay here with Dawa and his family! His mom is a great cook and made us some delicious meals. We stayed here both on our way up to EBC and again on the way back. The hot showers were great, the rooms were warm and the dining room was welcoming. My dad took sick and Dawa helped us with organising helicopter rescue contacting insurance companies and looked after my dad very well. We will forever be grateful for all his help. We were sad to leave ! Highly recommend this accommodation..

GermanyI stayed at Hotel Khangri for 3 nights on my way to EBC and was very fortunate to meet Dawa and the rest of the team. All the employees of the hotel are wonderful people, so I really enjoyed my stay, was well looked after and was always helped with all my questions and problems. In addition to the really clean and tidy rooms and sanitary facilities, you always have the opportunity to use the super-fast WiFi for free and charge all your electronic devices in your room at no extra cost. For hotels and lodges on the way to the EBC, this is not a matter of course and as a solo traveler I was very grateful for that. Much love and see you soon <3
