Nice location with quite number of shops and restaurants, walking distance to the town centre. Excellent a/c and hot water available. Nice staff and breakfast as well. The place was clean as well!

Most perfect hostel, good location and price, amazing rooms and best water pressure I’ve had in Nepal. People are so friendly, not a party hostel but definitely very social vibe. Great breakfast, everyday different! The staff is amazing everyone from reception are sweethearts. But the true STAR ⭐ is Bipsy from the rooftop bar. She is such a light, brings everyone together and is always happy to serve you with a smile. She made our stay even more memorable! Would recommend this place to everyone ❤️

I liked everything about Kiwi hostel. The staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. This has created a lovely culture around the place so that everyone I have met here has also been super friendly. The free breakfast is nice and a great way to meet people, Bips the amazing bartender is always up for a chat. Lovely rooftop for great sunsets and views of the mountains. I've stayed in many places around Nepal and this place has been my favourite by far.

The staff at this hostel are amazing! Shout-out to Arjun, Bibs and Maya and all of the other lovely folks working here. They are super friendly, and going back after our trek felt a bit like coming home. They deserve so much recognition as everyone is working their butts off haha! Otherwise, the rooms we had were really nice and clean and having breakfast included was also great. Very social place without being rowdy or loud. :)

I think breakfast can be improved. And same for coffee.

I stayed in a private room and it was an amazing stay. Of course because it is a hostel there is chatting and a bit more noisy than a regular hotel but i loved staying at Kiwi. Super super clean and comfortable, nice views, beautiful terrace and great staff.

Many travellers there had gastroenteritis / food poisoning . Don’t if it was due to food at the hostel or something they all ate outside ? I was fine . Anyways I only have bottled water. So be careful . As your trek can get delayed if you are unwell to begin with .

This hostel had a good vibe from arriving to leaving. A nice breakfast in the morning was also best opportunity to swap stories n tips where to go etc. Special mention for Bips the best barmaid in Nepal. Always smiling n happy to chat. Suman the owner was a nice guy and would ask how your stay was and welcomed any suggestion to improve. I couldn't think of anything. Easy walk from Tourist bus station and close to Lakeside cafes and most sites to visit. Roof terrace and bar great. Chill area with books on ground floor.

As a traveler, I have visited 24 countries and stayed in hundreds of hostels, but I had a great time here! I came to stay for 1 week and stayed for 3 weeks. And during this time, I met wonderful people. The rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean, the staff is very kind and helpful. The terrace has a wonderful view and travelers sit around the fire in the evenings and chat! Special thanks to Arjun and Bips from the staff. You will feel like family here. I highly recommend this Hostel to all travelers! Hope to see you one day!

The breakfast : small and not good at all.

I had a great private room for myself. Very good price for this room: clean, very confortable, very clean bathroom with hot water whenever you like. The staff was helpful and nice. Amazing little bar upstairs to have drinks and snacks! Drinking water available. Well situated.
