Unforgettable Stay in Bardiya National Park! Our stay at this hotel was truly special. The location is perfect for nature and wildlife lovers — we were lucky to see a tiger and a group of wild elephants during our jungle visit! The staff were friendly, caring, and always ready to help. The food was fresh and delicious. It takes around 45 minutes to prepare meals because they use only fresh, locally sourced ingredients — and you can really taste the difference! If you're visiting Bardiya, this is the perfect place to stay. Peaceful environment, great hospitality, and unforgettable wildlife experiences. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect, very close to the park entrance. I was impressed by the guides provided for the safari as they were very knowledgable of the various habitats and the animals and birds that you can find there and importantly how to see them safely. I am a keen nature photographer and the guides helped me a lot to find the right places to take great shots. We successfully tracked tigers and had a very good encounter, also rhinoceros, elephants, great hornbills and even the elusive leopard and much more. It was magical! The grounds are beautifully maintained and the garden is full of flowers and plants which attract birds. The food offered was a wide selection of delicious traditional Nepali cuisine and western dishes, lovingly cooked, using fresh and organic vegetables, often straight from the garden. Very attentive staff and the hosts made me very welcome and the place had really nice family vibe and were eager to show me what Bardia has to offer. I highly recommend a visit!

We had a fantastic stay at Mr B’s and his wonderful family. Bibek, our host and guide, took us on two unforgettable safaris - one by Jeep where we saw tigers on three different occasions; one on foot where we watched rhinos and elephants for hours. The birdlife was incredible too, with highlights like the Indian roller, oriental pied-hornbill, Indian paradise-flycatcher, and Indian pitta. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the daal bhat was the best we’ve had - especially special as we helped prepare it on the second night. A truly memorable experience. On a rest day, we took bikes out and had a great time exploring the local villages. Highly recommended!

This place is family-run. The location is perfect, and while the facilities are basic, they include everything you need. We stayed in a small traditional cottage overlooking the beautiful flower garden. Waking up in this environment is incredibly peaceful. There’s also a small restaurant, with a menu that offers a subtle nod to European cuisine. Mr. B is retired, but still very involved with the guests. His sons Bibek and Bibesh, along with Loken, are experienced guides who take you on safari. They show great respect for the jungle and all the animals that live there. Because everything is freshly prepared, it can sometimes take a little while for your meal to be served. I definitely shouldn’t forget Bibek’s wife—on the days we weren’t on safari, she took great care of us. Everyone here is warm, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for you. During the time we were there, spotting tigers, elephants, and rhinos was a real possibility. All in all, this place is truly a hidden gem—and one thing’s for sure: we’ll definitely be coming back here again.

We had an amazing stay at Mr B's, which is an authentic family run resort. We were made welcome from the start and everyone couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. As well as meeting the family the best thing about the stay was our guide, Bibash, who was very knowledgeable and always making sure we had the best experience. He is also an excellent photographer so knows how to get you in the best position for shots. We saw 3 tigers in 2 days, but also saw a lot of other wildlife such as rhino, monkeys, birds etc., so we had an all-round wildlife experience. We also had an evening trip to the river to see the mottled wood owls and rhino bath time, accompanied by the incomparable Mrs B. The family is passionate about the park and it's wildlife, so if you are coming to Bardia to see wildlife and also want a comfortable family run stay then there would be nowhere better than Mr B's. Food and accommodation was excellent too. We were very sad to leave and wished we could have stayed longer.

Mr B’s Place, mere steps from Bardiya National Park, is run by a lovely family. It would not be enough to say that the rooms are clean and comfortable, that the food is fresh, delicious and cooked to order when you wish and that the walking safari and the jeep safari are exciting and fun. It is the people that make the difference. The staff is friendly and attentive, ready to help and make your stay just right. Special thanks to Dipok, our jeep safari driver and especially to Loken our knowledge guide who not only made our two safari days special and filled with unique experiences but also took such good care of us during our 4 day stay. Thank you also to Bibek who welcomed us and helped us find a mechanic for our motorcycle malfunction. Highly recommend Mr B’s place for your time in Bardiya. We left our hearts.

There are only things to love about this property.

Situated 200 yards from the entrance to the National park the location couldn't be better. Mr B's is a family run business which can provide pretty much whatever experience you are looking for. The staff ( nearly all family members) are extremely friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend this place and if anyone would like more information they can email me at chappersp90@yahoo.co.uk and I'll be happy to answer questions.

    Nothing to report.

We cannot say enough good things about Mr. B’s. This is a budget hotel/cottage in a small village outside a National park, so its offerings are simple but met all of our needs. The room was one of the nicest we had in Nepal (and the cheapest), the food was delicious and the whole experience left us relaxed and refreshed. I am not sure life will ever bring me back to Bardiya, but if it does- this is where I will stay.

The food was well prepared and portions were generous and there was a good choice of food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful/. the room had A/c which we were not expecting. It was clean and very comfortable with a good clean bathroom. The trips from the guest house to see the wildlife were really good and we saw a lot of birds and animals but will have to come back again to see a tiger

Such a friendly, family run place. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that we had a great time. Our guides did everything to help us find Tigers, rhinos and elephants while remaining safe. We had so many amazing sightings. We were initially only meant to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 7 and would have stayed longer if we could. Food was also amazing, we are every meal there.
