Shower is a bit weird, one showerhead produced cold, the other almost boiling water. If you mix them in the bucket, it won't be a problem!

Very friendly and helpful host and family, cozy lodges & close to the National Park entrance Probably the best Dal Bhat we had!

The owner is a very experienced safari guide. On the jungle walk and jeep safari he offers I was able to see wild rhinos, elephants and even a tiger. He is also very helpful (gave good recommendations, helped book the bus back to Kathmandu...). Food, especially fried rice with omelette for the jungle walks, is just amazing. Can only recommend.

    Nothing

Great place near the river, quiet, beautiful nature. Tasty food and Krishna helped me a lot to organize all kind of things. Bardia is still with little tourism, amazing wildlife and traditional villages straight out of the Jungle Book movie . I went by bicycle and many people greet you.

I definetly have nothing to complain about

The experience in Bardia was great thanks to the staff on Namaste Bardiya Resort. The activities they proposed are perfect: we did jungle walks and Jeep safari and slept in the tree house. Every activity was different and I would totally reccomend them all: the jungle walk is to feel more connected to the nature, with the jeep safari is possible to cover more ground and rush to see the animals when they are spotted somewhere in the park and the tree house is a wonderful experience to sleep in the jungle. We saw a lot of animals including the big ones: a tiger, a herd of elephants and multiple rhinos. This was possible thanks to the knowledge of our guide (also our host) Krishna. The resort is very nice and confortable, Krishna's family super nice and the rest of the staff too. The food is always cooked fresh and delicious. Plus, the place is very close to the entrance of the park and right in front of the river (where we were swimming to chill a bit) so sometimes is possible to spot animals even from the resort (even inside, deers crossed the property and even a monkey was sitting on our room porch). The rooms are simple with everything you need.

From the first minute I felt very welcome. The host Krishna helped me organize a tuk tuk from Ambasa village to him. I got a very nice and cozy bungalow. I really enjoyed the sunsets from my terrace. Krishna's wife and his team cooked delicious food and served me milk tea daily ;) This place offers you a paradise, quiet, surrounded by nature. You can go to Bardiya National Park with Krishna, he is an excellent guide and will do his best to see rhinos, elephants or even a tiger. I highly recommend this place for a longer stay. I was there for two weeks :) ❤️

It was great, my original plan was to stay 3 nights and I like it so much I stayed 7. The owner Krishna and his family, helps me with everything I needed, if it’s information, food, laundry and more. And Krishna was my guide, he knows the park so well we saw tiger almost everyday thanks to him. The room is big and clean. Highly recommended

The only thing which wasn't easy for me, was the shower with separate cold and hot water taps faucets. But during the day it is really hot and you don't need that much hot water.

This new hotel is a place you shouldn't miss! the price is unbelievably cheap! and the location, especially if you are a birdwatcher, is the best! It is across the river, with very beautiful area and well-designed cottages. You can stay there forever and chill! The staff are very friendly and the owner, Krishna, who is young but experienced guide provides you anything you need.

Very friendly staff, good food, hot shower and cold beer in the evening made our stay great. We also did two jungle walking Safaris with the owner. He Show us animals we could have never seen without him. He's a guide for 22 years. One last thing: almost every third day the elephant comes to the river! You can watch him from their Terrace easily

Had a short but very pleasant stay, thanks to the friendly and helpful owner Krishna, as well as the personel. There's a variety of food options available at the restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and overall I'd say you get value for money. I also arranged an enjoyable walking safari with Krishna, though I didn't get lucky with the wildlife. Better luck during my next visit!

Lovely authentic and green place with cottages. The houses are spacious and clean. Can't wish for a more friendly and helpful staff! The host Krishna helped us with anything we wanted, from the excursions, visiting a treehouse, the park and having up to date information about the buses. The balcony of the main building has a beautiful view on the park and river. From here you can enjoy the nature, spot the elephants, monkeys and crocodiles. Moreover, the freshly cooked breakfasts and dinner were a delight, which made it a very relaxing stay.
