A wonderful peaceful place with incredible service. Anil and his family and staff is very lovely people and will help you with whatever you need (junglewalk, jeep, treehouse, bus-tickets, ect). The food is so delicious and the prices are very friendly. I stayed here for 6 days :) Would recommend to everybody who visits Bardiya.

I experienced Anil as kind host, always up for a little chat and willing to help with safaris or whatever one wishes to do around Bardiya. The resort is located between the sunset spot and the entrance of the national park. If you are adventurous you can take a dip in the river right in front of the gates. Authentic village life can be seen in the sorrounding area.

The mattress was quite hard, which affected our comfort. Timing also wasn’t ideal, as a group staying at the same time frequently played loud trance music, which made it difficult to unwind. Additionally, we found the food could be improved.

The cabins are nicely located, offering a peaceful and scenic setting. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

As soon as we arrived at Riverside, we felt like home. The place is just wonderful and the garden makes you want to sit and relax as much as you can. The nature around is very nice as well. Anil and his parents are really helpful and friendly just as the staff. Anil also speaks french fluently, so it was nice to have conversations in our language. The food is yummy. We did the walking safari and the guide is very nice and experienced and all this for a good price. What else ? We wanted to stay 2 days and we finally stayed 7 days. Thanks again 🌞

Honestly, everything was perfect! From the beautiful location and comfortable accommodations to the exceptional hospitality and unforgettable wildlife experiences, there wasn’t a single thing to dislike. Every moment at Riverside View Park Resort felt like a dream, and I wouldn’t change a thing!

Riverside View Park Resort was an incredible experience! The stunning location by Bardia National Park provided the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. The staff was exceptional, always welcoming and helpful. The jeep safari was unforgettable—I spotted tigers, rhinos, elephants, and deer in their natural habitat. The elephant-back safari and birdwatching tours offered a unique way to experience the park’s rich biodiversity. Rafting on the Karnali River was another highlight, with sightings of crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins. After action-packed days, relaxing by the riverside, enjoying delicious Nepali food, and watching the sunset over the jungle was the perfect ending. This resort is a hidden gem and a must-visit for nature lovers!

    Nothing. This place was awesome.

We truly enjoyed having tea watching the sunrise over the garden and the Farmer's fields. The place is only a few minutes from the park. We walked there on our first night and saw 3 tigers!!! Unreal! We were also able to go for a jeep ride in the park, using Anil's connections, and we saw a rhino and another tiger. So cool. The location is great and bang for your buck, this place became one of my favorites. Lovely staff, wildlife, and great location. I highly recommend this spot.

    Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

10/10 stay! We had such a lovely time at this resort. The facilities were very clean and comfortable - really great value. The gardens and terrace were so so nice to sit out and relax, read, or play cards. The food was always delicous. We also really enjoyed the sunrise from the deck! The location was perfect. Only 5 minutes from the park entrance. But my favourite was the riverfront spot to watch the sunset. We actually saw 3 tigers on our first day here only a 15 minute walk from the resort! Amazing!! Anil was very welcoming and available to assist at any time and was very pleasant to deal with. He arranged for a jeep safari into the jungle which we loved as well as a night in a treehouse in the jungle - super cool! We stayed for a week but wish we had longer.

An authentic gem on the edge of Bardia National Park! The staff of this family-run lodge is very friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious and based on the vegetables they grow in their own garden, and it is very well located in a quiet area. Anil, who speaks English, French and Hindi, even helped me organise two safari days in the jungle. I really recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and affordable place to stay close to Bardia National Park.

Maybe a little far from town for walking in the heat.

The place is very tranquil and about a 5-10 minute bike ride to the market. They have a bike available for rent which did come in very handy. The room was comfortable and clean and WiFi worked very well. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with finding out bus schedules, planning a safari tour and offering guidance for the area.

When arriving in Bardia town, watchout for other resorts or hotels who have their employees offering places to stay and sometimes claiming that Bardia Riverside Resort doesn't exist 😂 Don't trust 90% of TukTuk drivers, one tired to charge me 600 Nepali Rupees for the 13km ride. I am not naive nor am I a fool, so I found one who driver who was honest and charged me 200 Nepal Rupees from Abasha to Bardia town; after that I walked for 1.5km to the resort. If you don't fancy walking for 1.5km, get a TukTuk for 200 Nepal rupees or call Anil (Resort manager) and he will be happy to pick you up from Abasha or Bardia town centre. One more important thing; you can always wait for the bus from Abasha to Bardia Town , however, these buses run between 7am-6pm

If you're ever intend to visit Nepal's Bardia Wildlife Resort, you have to stay at this lovely Bardia Riverside View Park Resort for the reasons outlined below: The resort is nestled right bang in the middle of many villages and sitting right across Bardia Wildlife Resort. The place is amazing and yes, it's definitely a resort surrounded by trees, amazing garden and a few houses for visitors. Resort food is deliciously amazing, the staff made me feel like I was part of the family, we sat, we talked, we laughed and smile some more! I really loved my stay at the resort so much that I extended, keep up the good work, Anil.

If it wasn't for Anil, it was very hard to communicate with the staff but as it was explained to me, during the low season, there wasn't the need for more personnel. Lots and lots of electricity cuts in the area, not the resort's fault.

The location: safe, quiet and away from the crowds. The village is a 20 minutes walk The price was brilliant, I felt very fortunate to have found and been able to stay at this place. The food was good too. I was also fortunate to get the entire dorm room to myself Anil was around to help with everything and I enjoyed my Safari walk. Ask for a hot water bucket if needed for the shower Thank you!

This hotel is great. My room had a own bathroom and balcony. For this low price it is amazing! Also the restaurant served delicious dishes (breakfast/lunch/dinner). The garden is big and has many trees and places where you can take rest. At the end the location: The property is in front of the national park. I could book a 2-day safari tour from this hotel too.

The location of the property is absolutely amazing. You can walk right into the heart of the park in just ten minutes. The location is quiet and peaceful. The grounds of the property are very green and pleasant. The manager has good English, which is helpful and will arrange your game outings at a very good price.
