I stayed in this studio during my first day in Kathmandu. It’s located right by Durbar Square, with windows facing a lively and noisy street. You’ll hear the sounds of daily life, people talking, the occasional motorbike horn. If you’re looking for silence, this isn’t the place. But once you’re inside, it feels completely different: clean, calm, cozy, and beautifully put together. Everything works well. Fast Wi-Fi, a good shower, a washing machine, and a small but practical kitchen. The bed is comfortable, and the interior is thoughtful and charming. It’s a lovely space. The hosts are very attentive and responsive, they reply quickly and genuinely care about their guests’ comfort. It’s a great option for solo travelers who value aesthetics, convenience, and being close to the real rhythm of Kathmandu.

This is an attractive historical Appartment which is little gem, just moments away from Durbar square in a bustling area of the city. It has a little balcony and a roof where you can hang washing and get some good views. The hosts are incredibly helpful and they were very responsive to special requests such as booking taxis and leaving bags

The apartment is as described and is in the best location in Kathmandu. Everything you need is walking distance, however, taxis are standing by just outside the entrance. Washer works great and it is convenient to be able to cook and sit on the balcony with a coffee in the morning.

This is a fantastic option for a short term stay in kathmandu. Good, clean accommodation, has everything you need for cooking, washing machine. From Ratna Park Bus Stop walk minit 15 which is very convenient if you are traveling to or from somewhere from other sides of nepal. I was 100% satisfied

Located right at Basatanpur Durbar Square, excellent well furnished facilities, efficient hot water tank/washing machine, spacious rooftop with a great view and ample clothes drying line. Very comfortable bed, very safe/clean premises, well equipped kitchen and welcoming owners who sent me a useful list of things to do in Kathmandu and responded to all my inquiries promptly. Thanks to them my luggage was kept safe until I left for my flight, for which I am ever so grateful. The property if often sold out, you would be lucky to get it, as I was. Thanks again to the Joshi family.

Just bring earplugs. There is some street noise if you're in the 2nd floor apartment.

Everything at the apt was good. It's comfortable, and has a heater for winter. The kitchenette was fine and we could use the washing machine for free. The bed was comfy. Location is convenient. I have to thank the host though, he came to bring me bottled water and medicine when I got food poisoning and was alone. I'm grateful for his help. My bf arrived 3 days later.

Be mindful that bringing large bag / luggage upstairs could be a bit of a challenge. Thankfully, during checkout the host helped me to bring my large bag downstairs

The property is strategically situated just right next to the Kathmandu Durbar Square. I stayed in the One Bedroom Apartment and it was fully equipped with appliances to a long stay such as full kitchen, kitchenwares, and washing machine. Everything are clean & arrangements were impeccable. Mr Sudarshan & his son Sushanta were helpful, warm, welcoming and communicating effectively, responsively. Highly recommended

As others have mentioned you may need earplugs as it’s in a bustling location, but the traffic stops about 10pm and starts about 6am. I had earplugs and wasn’t disturbed in the night.

Really great place to stay near historical Durbar square. The apartment is very nicely done, with quality furniture and fittings, very clean and comfortable. Everything you need. It’s compact but doesn’t feel too small. Very hot shower as the water heater is in the bathroom itself and shows you the temperature of the water. Flat is not cold in December although there’s a small heater there. Washing machine that works is also available and you can hang laundry on the terrace. WiFi is super fast. There’s a chair and desk for working on. Opposite there’s a great place for breakfast called Dwarikas Chhen. Owners very friendly and helpful.

I liked everything.

The apartment itself was perfect, very clean and homely in a classic building. Facilities included hot shower (not something you can expect everywhere in Nepal) a washing machine, a well equipped kitchen and reliable internet. Bed was very comfortable. So glad I chose this cozy apartment. Great location.

Can be a bit noisy for some but that's a small price to pay for the terrific location!!

The location is fantastic. Although the studio is small it os equipped with everything you need. The shower is nice and hot. Laundry is available and clothes can be dried on the roof of the property.
