At the end of the 1st day (after one round of cleaning), I think a window was left open (in the air conditioned room). As it was behind the curtains, I did not notice and the AC ran the entire night until I noticed the next morning. Moreover, because the window was open, mosquitoes had gotten in and that night I could barely sleep from all the mosquito bites.

I recently stayed one night at Hotel Sarowar in Pokhara and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. I loved how close the hotel is to Lake Side—perfect for a relaxing walk or quick access to local attractions. The highlight of my stay was definitely the dining experience on the rooftop. Enjoying a delicious meal with a stunning view of the mountains was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Pokhara!

Balcony is pigeon paradise and window doesn’t close properly, smokers in the next room and smell comes in through to our room.

Quiet, don’t hear barking dogs! Bbq on the roof top was very good! The cook Jenish, Sagan and Rakesh were great! Spa massage.

breakfast is so-so for international tourists. It could have more variety of food options. Swimming pool is not heated. A little bit old too. Tour and fees to order taxi is a bit on the high side.

Rooms are clean, facility is a bit old but all functioning and well maintained. Shower water is heated but it takes 2-3 mins to pre-heat. Very lovely rooftop lounge where we can see the whole lake view. Location is very good as it’s just a step next to the Main Street of lakeside. Staffs are extremely friendly and attentive.

Very large and clean room (suite) and friendly staff. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing. Breakfast is good and abundant.

The hot water in our room didn't work, but otherwise the room was adequate.. The food at the rooftop was so so and the service was slow.

The location was great and central to the lake district. This is a high quality three star hotel, not five star. Ratings can be tricky to decipher.

Breakfast was unfortunately not very well managed. The food was good but there was a lack of oversight ensuring that supplies of food were adequate. We stayed 5 nights and had breakfast at many different times and on only one of these mornings was there attention paid to keeping the juice, coffee, tea, fruit, eggs etc. available. Should really be able to do this better.

Location was great - right in the heart of things but 50 yards back from the hustle and bustle. Room was lovely and good value. Rooftop had fabulous views and staff were available but not at all pushy.

As the hotel is relatively new, the facilities are in an excellent state. If you can get a room on an upper floor, the views are great, either towards Annapurna or the lake. We had both a superior and normal room for our family and the big rooms is worth the extra. You can always go to the upper terrace for photos or a sundowner.

Downtown was a little older than I expected in the pictures. But it was better than the hotels in the surrounding area.

The death was very professional and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent because it put us right at the heart of every resource and activity we needed. We will stay here again on our return.

1. Breakfast served on the ground floor, although the picture says they serve it in a rooftop restaurant with a panoramic view of Phewa lake and Himalayan Mountains. My whole purpose of booking this hotel was lost. 2. They confirmed me on giving a front side Swiss Select Room over phone on the day of arriving, but when arrived late in the evening we were offered a city view room. Finally, we choose a twin deluxe room at the front side.

Hotel didn't have a fire alarm system, so when an electrical fire broke out on the second floor, we had to self-evacuate. Guests woke up by chance and hurried to the curb without any alarm or coordination.

The hotel had promised us to cancel our deals of October 1 and October 5, on October 1, because their rooms had an unbearable smell - too much pesticide, and only tiny window and no fresh air provision system. When we asked they to solve this problem, they sprayed excess air freshener in the room, making the room even more unlivable. But when we left the hotel and Pokhara, Sarowar hotel still deducted our fees. I have contacted the hotel, booking several times, exhausting. But the hotel changed their words: we never told you that you can cancel the deal on Oct.5 . They refused to make any compensation and apology.
