"Had a wonderful stay at Thamel Boutique Hotel!The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating, Mr. Adhikari, manager he is a nice man and kind hearted making me feel right at home. The hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants and shops. Breakfasts were great.I'll definitely be back on my next trip."

Manager Mr. Adhikari was extremly courteous and deeply caring. He ensured our room was as per our expectations. He went out of the way to book our cab for airport. The hotel is extremely well maintained and cosy all because of his passion to deliver best value for money to his customers whom he treat with deep respect. We will keep going back.

Very good hotel, staff super friendly and helpful for everything. The room was great, I really liked it, everything was there, super clean. There is also a restaurant in the rooftop with great selection of food. I highly recommend this hotel if you staying in Kathmandu, also the area is great.

The elevator was quite small but no big deal.

Breakfast was great, the manager was accommodating with our late checkout request, and the airport pickup was very convenient. Beds were comfortable and great location too. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I had the best experience here at Thamel Boutique Hotel. Walked in late in the night to change hotels, and was greeted by the very friendly Avishek Regmi. He gave us a great deal, and I even got a free upgrade due to low season. Never stopped saying hi and welcoming me whenever I go in and out of the hotel. 😀 The manager, Jayaram Adhikari, was extremely friendly as well, and walked me to a post office for some postage needs that I had. Loved the amenities, cleanliness, and facilities of the hotel. The hotel is very close and walking distance to great spots to visit - LOD, Forest Plate, Himalayan Java Coffee, Paradise Spa, Everest Momo (next to Saraswati Multiple Campus), all my favourite spots whenever i’m back in Thamel! 10/10 😀👍🏻

This is our 2nd stay. It’s a hidden gem in Kathmandu. Good Room, Neat and clean washroom. Very Friendly Staff. Nearby lots of restaurants, super shop, money exchange, souvenir shop, club and pubs. Its location is the Center of Thamel. The manager Jayaram is a good person. From check in to check out he helped us lots about tour, ticket, places, shopping etc. I highly recommended Thamel boutique hotel to everyone who want to visit Kathmandu and stay in cozy, quiet hotel with very good service & hospitality.

There is only one elevator, which is often occupied and also rather small. The breakfast offered is alright, nothing special and the coffee is just powdered coffee with hot water. The hair dryer in my room wouldn't always be cooperative and would suddenly stop working.The power outlet in my bathroom was indeed a bit loose.

Spacious, clean room with a large and comfy bed (deluxe double room) and private bathroom with a small amenity kit like toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, etc. Two sets of towels, a bathroom mat and slippers are provided as well. There is a large desk, a mini fridge, a wardrobe, two bottles of still water and a kettle with mugs for making coffee and tea. Loads of power outlets for charging. US travelers might need an adaptor. European travelers can use the outlets in the room without problems. Great with AC in the room as Kathmandu gets really hot and humid during the summer and monsoon season. Stable Wi-Fi. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor with quite a nice view of Thamel from the rooftop. A la carte breakfast is served with multiple options, and the staff are very nice and hard-working. A considerably smaller breakfast buffet might replace the traditional one during specific days like festivals and national holidays. The entire staff, from the receptionists to housekeepers, baristas, chefs and waiters are all so kind and welcoming, always ensuring their guests are comfortable and feel seen. The manager is always smiling and ready to provide the guests with tips on travel plans. I didn't try their café downstairs, but the menu looked extensive and very cheap as well! Overall a very nice experience in a central location, clean hotel, great staff and excellent service.

The location was just what I had for. I liked everything about this hotel, especially the staff who were so kind. When I arrived, I was very tired and hungry so I ordered room service- a beer, which was delivered immediately, and a very delicious chicken curry, which came soon after. Although the room was small, it was sufficient - and very quiet and comfortable. It could not have been better. I recommend this hotel highly.

I have traveled to 56 countries so far. In my traveling life, I have never experienced better hospitality and service than Thamel Boutique Hotel. It is a small boutique hotel, but the service is better than many 5 star hotels. All the staff of this hotel are very hospitable. Especially manager Jayaram has to be mentioned. Jayaram has arranged everything from airport pickup to other places in Nepal very smoothly. There is another young staff of this hotel, whose name is Abhishek - such a good boy, at a young age he knows how to provide good service to guests. Do not miss staying at this hotel if you are visiting Kathmandu. I guarantee that staying in this hotel will be a new experience in life!

This is the second time that we have stayed here in two years. We really enjoy this hotel. Everything is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is always amazing. The staff is so wonderful and extremely helpful. Plus you can walk to so many restaurants, shops and more from here.

Breakfests could be a little more diversed, after 4 days you can be a little bored :) On the other hand, it is nothing comparing to all other advantages of this hotel (service, localization, amazing staff, great manager).

Great hotel in the middle of Thamel. Excellent service, everybody is extremelly nice and helpful. Jayaram, hotel manager is kindest person ever, in case of any questions and problems he is more than happy to help :) Around you have got a lot of shops and places to eat, so if you need to spend few days in Kathmandu this place is a great choice.

Comfortable and clean rooms with all amenities at a central location -- what more can one ask for!? The staff at Thamel Boutique are super helpful and kind and take care of your needs. The manager Jaya ji is always available on site to handle any requests or troubleshoot issues. It's a very good place to stay for short or long stay in KTM. 10/10 would recommend.
