Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

The location was fantastic. Right in the middle of Thamel, all the fun and buzz of restaurants, bars and shops and easy 10 minute walk to explore the old town area markets and temples. Thamel House is a great building and an oasis from the busy streets. My room was beautiful and spacious (room 18)! The windows faced the street so great to feel a part of the atmosphere. I arrived on a Friday night so the sound of music and people having fun went into the night but didn’t bother me

Location for end of our stay in Nepal was great for shopping in Thamel for gifts. The hotel was clean and comfy with helpful and pleasant staff. Dinner in the adjacent restaurant had traditional dancing performances each night. Rooms were well presented and spacious with some welcome fruit and snacks. Decor is traditional Newari feel with lots of wood which we loved.

Wonderful experience staying here before and after our Everest Base Camp trek. In the heart of the tourist area close to many shops and facilities. Terrific hotel with outstanding staff friendly and willing to take care of every need. Peaceful clean and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!
