The staff makes you feel at home, takes care of you from start to finish. Really amazing staff. Everything worked perfectly for me and even that Ashish would ask me if everything is alright every single day. This shows the staff are very professional, courteous, humble and always smiling. Absolutely Loved My Stay! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and exceptional service. The staff’s local knowledge and willingness to help truly stood out — as a last-minute planner, having someone guide me through tailored activity options was a game-changer. The rooms were exactly as pictured, but what truly made the difference for me was the incredibly comfortable bed — easily one of the best I’ve slept in. The hotel is also quiet, with no street noise. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the hustle and bustle of Thamel, so you get the best of both worlds: convenience and calm. Each morning began with a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back!

The best hotel we stayed at in Nepal! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was absolutely perfect. The guy at the reception was the kindest person ever – so helpful, patient, always smiling, and truly went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, from local tips to organizing our plans. Our room was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and had such a peaceful vibe. Breakfasts were a real treat – generous, delicious, fresh, and made with love. The entire staff was friendly, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere made us feel at home – only with better views and perfect cleanliness :) If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming place with amazing people and great energy – this is the one! I don't know where to begin with what I liked about Vastu Boutique hotel (aka Ashish' Palace 😁) because it completely exceeded my expectations and I loved it all. Hands down the best hotel/accommodation I've experienced in Asia, let alone Nepal. Friendly staff, helpful travel tips, so clean, so cosy (we found it so hard to leave and stayed 6 nights more than we intended!), genuine service, immaculate housekeeping, delicious and generous meals each morning, fresh bottled water, tea, coffee, kettle.... I could go on! Everything was perfect. And the photos you see on here are what you get🩷100% recommend this hotel to those seeking a sanctuary amidst the colourful hustle bustle of Thamel. We absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms were super clean, modern, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — right next to a great restaurant and within walking distance to local markets and major tourist spots. The location is perfect in Thamel area. Very safe and highly walkable within the tourist and dining spots. The room is big. Shower water pressure is good. There is electric kettle and fridge in the room which is a big plus for me. There is an elevator available too. Breakfast is good especially the Nepalese yoghurt with grains. But the most valuable asset of the hotel are their staff. Special shoutout to Ashish Aryal. The best host to have. He is so genuine, super helpful and kind. He exemplified true Nepalese hospitality. Such a wonderful person. Great guy. I am definitely recommending Vastu Boutique hotel to everyone who visit Kathmandu. Five-star rating!!

It's a small hotel, which was exactly what I wanted! It was quite and cozy and for breakfast you could order several different variations. The stuff had several great recommendations, and took their time to help out, which they did a lot! Also I liked the modern style of the hotel. The pictures portrayed the reality very well. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They will help with tours, flights, and anything you need. Luggage storage is available for while you trek. Great breakfast, restaurant across the lane way. There are plenty of other choices nearby also. Quiet location but still in amongst the fun of Kathmandu. Rooms are comfy and have everything you need for a comfy stay.
