There was nothing we didn't like. It was just what we needed for an emergency nights stay.

Very responsive hosts, very friendly and very helpful. We had to stay due to an emergency, flooding, and we were unable to continue our journey. We were welcomed very quickly after making the booking. This was excellent as it was a very stressful time, and we had not bargained on having this extra stop for the night. The fresh milk supplied was delicious.

NO TV

The Bed was comfy and clean and the bathroom was very clean had a great shower. It was quite nice views could see the sea in the distance. Could of had a extra coffee cup only had one but there was tea cups. It was advertised with a TV but there was none so that was a bit of a disappointment. One thing a hand rail could be good to hold onto going up and down the steps for someone with disabilities. Or a older person. But we had a good stay it was peaceful Thankyou

My mistake maybe but I failed to realise/notice that the Cabin also has an Oven, further to the other basic facilities including a Fridge that can be noted in the Listing . We were ok for our stay, but if we'd known we would have eaten even better that night. Enjoy.

I cannot recommend this Stay any greater! For our needs it was perfect, and offered very good value for money. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay and would be great for a longer time too. Although a bit out of Town providing you have Transport or no wish to go out for the evening it is great. It has all the basics to be self-sufficient, and to cater for yourselves, just arrive with all your Food/Drink needs and you are sorted! Enjoy a Peaceful stopover. With Thanks.

Door lock needs fixing. Kitchen needs a bit more gear.

Very comfortable cabin. Plenty of space and a nice feel. Close enough to town. Owners kindly gave us avocados and oranges.

TV was gone this time, it was there before, but all good. Also WiFi was down, not their fault though! They been hammered by heavy weather in this area I think?!?

Great location and the bed is so comfy. Loved the shower and bathroom. Had a great stop, so great that I forgot an online meeting!

Stove was a bit slow cooking but that's ok. A bit of light comes through the door at night. A little bit of road noise in the early morning also...

Loved the beds and had a couch. The outside porch was great to sit and read a book until dark. I had a good meal cooked inside and the space was roomy in the cabin. Lots of utensils and consumables. Great shower and bathroom.. The Hosts were very freindly and welcoming. Will definitely be booking again in the future when returning to the area.

Some traffic noise being close to SH2 but nothing ear plugs won't fix.

Very helpful hosts. Real kiwi batch feel. Great location for my work. Good shower, comfy bed, well equipped kitchenette. 5 minutes by car to beach or town.

Oh not being able to watch tv was my only downer .

I enjoyed my stay...very homely...being able to cook your meals actually was a bonus because most places you can't... only microwave at the others...bed was really comfortable loved the bathroom...for a cabin stay it was really nice.

I couldnt figure out how to use the tv but thats on me.

Great location, just a few steps away from the main road so not off the track too far but also not much noise from the road while trying to sleep. Town is only a few km's away so getting dinner was easy to do, though 'town' doesnt offer many choices. Very clean and tidy. Great wifi.

Couldn't get the TV to work. Didn't matter. Enjoyed the quiet.

Out in the country the sat nav isn't too accurate so the cottage sign was essential in finding the location. Ample parking meant I could reverse to the porch to unload my cases. The cottage is a large room with a queen size bed, kitchen with oven (!), dining table, and ensuite. Very comfortable. The porch has a table, chairs, and even an ashtray. And a friendly cat. Stock up as there are no shops within walking distance.
