My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding. It was super close to our wedding venue, with stunning views and nice quiet. Merrilies was lovely, and we enjoyed meeting Mickey the pup. There is a clock in the lounge, which chimes often, but sleep buds helped block it out.

I absolutely loved my stay at Ballymoney Cnoc. Merrilies was a most fabulous host. The room was very spacious, modern bathroom, fantastic views. The location is very remote and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for!

The room is spacious, and we also had access to the living room and a private kitchen. The entire place is decorated with so much love and character—it truly feels like home. Merrilies is the heart of the house; she is incredibly generous and kind, even going out of her way to help us with laundry when she didn’t have to. We also loved spending time with Mikey, her beautiful dog. Staying here has been an absolute blessing!

Merrilies and Mickey were so welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The views were outstanding and it was so peaceful- the only thing we heard was birdsong. So relaxing, we can’t wait to return.

The place was nicely tucked away with minimal noise and lights in the area. Great way to enjoy the countryside! The room was spacious and nicely laid out. The host was friendly and welcoming.

This is a gem in the countryside of Tai Tapu. Merrilies made us feel very welcome (as did Mickey) We loved her interior design with the space and practicalities of the room itself and the separate kitchen and lounge.

It was a fabulous place to stay, very spacious, with a lovely hostess who made us welcome and invited us to share all the facilities on offer. It wasn't easy to find, but well worth it. There was also a very good pub in the nearby village.

Hopefully the dog will be a bit more controllable as he gets older . Not everybody like dogs running around in the bedroom you are going to be staying in nor jumping up on your new suit as you are about to attend a wedding .

The bathroom wasn't that clean in places. We expected breakfast to be included for the price and it was advertised as Bed and breakfast.

We loved the peace and quiet of the countryside and the young springer spaniel.

We had a marvellous time at Ballymoney - a gorgeous property in an amazing location and the owner, Merrelies was delightful! We stayed a few days to get a break from busy Christchutch and to get a sense of country life in NZ. It was all we hoped it would be - and more!

Gorgeous property and amazing views! We enjoyed everything about Ballymoney. The room is massive, two balconies provide heaps of light and stunning views, the bathroom is nicely done and the bed is super comfy. The property is very relaxing, exactly what we needed before and after the wedding we attended at Cossars Wineshed. Thank you so much Merrilies for your warm welcome and looking after us. We will be back in the future!!!
