Perfect spot to ride the beautiful Kawitiri trail. Delicious breakfast was a bonus. Sarah is an excellent host and it was very interesting to hear about the local history and recent activity in developing the cycle trail and conservation effort in the region.

Breakfast was awesome. the beds were comfy, and the hostess was very informative. Good locatin, a short walk to the beaches and to the pub for a meal if you didn't fancy cooking. The Caves booking office and cafe were just over the road too. Look forward to going back.

Impossible to improve :-)

It was a real delight to stay here with a real super-host. A lot of thought has gone into making the accommodation and facilities top-notch and it felt so homely with everything you need for your stay. Only a short walk away is a gorgeous bay in this small & quiet west coast community.

The breakfast was amazing ! The room was adorable and I felt like I was very well taken care of. The perfect place to stop after the trail. The meal at the pub was excellent too. Wonderful hosts !

Nothing. It was like a home away from home.

Very cosy and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was lovely and generous. The chocolates were a nice touch. The host was lovely and very informative about the local attractions. There was a nice walk to the river close by and the tavern and booking office for the train ride through the rainforest or caving if you were adventurous was just across the road.

I had a very nice (but unfortunately short) stay in Charleston. Sarah war very welcoming and nice and had good tips for the region. The Apartment is well equipped with everything you need & the breakfast was amazing. Would 100% stay there again.

The room was adequate but not spacious.

Good clean comfortable accommodation in an interesting town. Friendly hosts. Lots of interesting things to do in this small town. Beautiful new hiking/MTB trail, mine museum, ocean scenery , and caving adventures nearby. Good restaurant/tavern just across the road.

Sarah was a great host and provided us with local information. The room was so tidy and neat, and everything that you can think of was provided. The breakfast was perfect and so creatively served. It's definitely a hidden gem. Thank you for a great stay.

The property was perfect for our stop over on our trip up the West coast. The accommodation was great, Sarah had thought of everything we needed. Sarah and Shane were so helpful, full of information about the local area and passionate about where they lived. To top this all off Sarah’s breakfast tray was delicious and a lovely treat😊

Only 1 available restaurant closes the kitchen at 8 pm, but the host informed me and I managed to get dinner.

Great owners, quiet place near beach, very nice breakfast. Nice and clean bedroom and bathroom. Soft bed. Nice view of the night sky with so many stars.

We liked EVERYTHING! Cosy, comfortable, clean accommodation, thoughtfully furnished and equipped. Lovely decor and excellent breakfast - generous and delicious. Highlights were stargazing and visiting the glow worms but most of all our lovely hosts Sarah and Shane. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - 6 stars!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
