Accommodation was advertised with breakfast. Breakfast cereal and milk was provided but nothing else. I would at least expect provisions for toast and possibly some juice.

It was a quiet location. The place was well appointed and very neat and clean. There was some interesting birdlike.

We enjoyed our stay at the place, it was like home away from home but better. It had everything we needed. It was cosy, quiet, the view of the farm cows was cool to see everyday, a beautiful smell as you walk into the house, everything was modernised and just a nice place to stay in. The hosts were very friendly and helpful when we needed help. We’ll be back again one day. Thank you

Honestly super impressed with this property. We booked it at 11pm, arrived at 11.15pm. We were met by one of the hosts and were welcomed and given access to the property. We had planned on carrying on our journey the next morning but the place is so cozy and relaxing we decided to stay another night. We will definitely book here again in the future. Also.. The cows are extremely cute and friendly too which was awesome for our daughter.

This property was a beautiful little slice of rural New Zealand life. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful sleep in the main (Queen) bed, and in the second bedroom, our teenage daughter loved the cozy double bed with the single bunk above her. The bathroom was tidy, the water pressure from the shower was excellent, and we appreciated the heated lighting and heated towel rack. Lastly, the kitchen was spacious and clean, and it provided all the amenities and appliances we needed to feel comfortable. It was a perfect stay for our family.

I've just spent the last two weeks at Colourful Country Escape, and I honestly can’t recommend this beautiful place enough. Every detail of the space has been created with such care and intention. The surroundings are stunning, and the quietness offers a rare chance to reset and recharge.

We confused 374 and 374a Youngson Road and so had difficulty finding the key. Suggest there be very clear instructions to guests to go down to the drive. to the lower building. Did get help from the host once we phoned her.

It is an excellent, comfortable apartment with fantastic views! My family and I were amazed at this accommodation and view; the friendly neighboring cows add authenticity!
