Walking distance to downtown, much easier going than returning. The hills in this place are crazy. But since there are many other things to do around Dunedin that are not at the CBD, you will probably rent a car anyway. So in the end location is not a issue.

This place is a wonderful option if you want to stay in Dunedin with your family. Two bedrooms, two toilets, two showers and a fully functional kitchen. I cannot emphasize enough how a fully functional kitchen is useful: we could make our fried eggs for breakfast! Awesome! The hosts are very nice and give good advice about things to do around the place. The rooms are beautiful and peaceful, allowing for a good night's rest.

Nothing. Though, if i have to find something to fault, we did try to cook eggs and there was a portable cooktop, we just couldn't figure out how to use it , so instruction may have been helpful.

Chris and Julia are superb hosts. Communication was excellent and Chris welcomed us and made us feel very welcome. The place was spotless, gorgeously decorated and very warm and comfy. we had everything we needed and more. Even though our rooms were technically "part" of the house we felt very private and secluded and therefore comfortable to come and go as needed. We will definitely stay there each time we visit Dunedin, if available.

There was nowhere really to lounge after a day's sightseeing. Suggestion: the bed in the second room could be a sofa bed/futon.

The hosts are very friendly. The house and gardens are nice and clean and comfortable. The location is quite central and close to restaurants and the city. The price was very reasonable, in fact a bargain.

Everything was fantastic.

The garden was GORGEOUS!!! So many beautiful flowers! Bed was very comfy. Shower was warm and strong......loved the products they had for us to use, I bought some from the store since to take home with me. They have thought of everything in the kitchen! Hosts were very friendly and delightful to talk with. Such a beautiful home.

Extremely comfortable and well equipped suite in a very quiet residential area. Aptly named as our room was bright and airy and overlooked the garden. Our hosts were very welcoming and it was a pleasure to stay at the property. It only took about half an hour to walk down into Dunedin and we took advantage of the regular bus service to come back up to Mornington.

Google maps directions over complicates getting to the property, but it is easy to find again once you’ve been there.

Fabulously arranged accommodation with comfortable beds and exceptional facilities set in quaint suburban settings. Has awesome little touches of kiwiana dotted throughout. Chris and Julie are Very gracious owners who accommodated our motorcycles without alacrity or issue and left us to enjoy our stay. Cannot highly recommend this service enough.

Hosts friendly and informative We had two bedrooms, both comfortable and clean. Bathroom was fine, clear instructions regarding ventilation. It is a room with no outside wall. We had our own entrance and key. Nice kitchen area with toaster, microwave and kettle. With tea, coffee milk etc kindly provided. This house is on a bus route for those without personal transport. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and a pub. We only had one night in Dunedin but an very happy we chose this .

The only thing that would make it better is perhaps considering a smart TV in the main bedroom so guests can watch from their own subscription accounts. But that's not a deal breaker :)

The location was awesome. A quick close walk to the bus stop that takes one to the city center. The room itself was a comfortable ensuite to include a nice seating area for morning tea. The hosts were incredible, making me feel so very welcome!
