We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

New ZealandNo minibar despite saying there was in the facilities. Stuff in the room fridge left from the previous stay. Told reception and no one came to take it away. Upon arrival, I signed up to the hotel loyalty program and was offered the chance to spin the wheel. It landed clearly on 2000 Marriott Hotel points, the guy came round from the front desk and read it out aloud. Lady also at front desk repeated “what”, he read it aloud a second time and she didn’t believe it so physically turned the wheel around to view it and in doing so moved it and stated it was on the line between two offers so made me spin again and landed on a free drink. Disappointed the lady did that after two confirmations and then physically touching the wheel and moving it, denying the prize. Service at bar in the afternoon was shocking - I stood there for 5 minutes and then had to ask at the coffee section and she asked someone to come. No compendium in room with details about anything - wasn’t advised on breakfast times at checkin. No ability to put do not disturb on door. Told a worker in corridor we did not require house keeping as we had returned to our room at 2:30pm after being out since 10:00am and it not done but we wanted to nap. No message was passed on and at 3:30pm they tried to enter the room to do the house keeping and woke us up. Buffet breakfast was absolutely beautiful, food was lovely and there was great variety. The breakfast service by the chef and waitresses was phenomenal.

Convenient location and great rooftop bar. Rooms are not huge but comfortable enough and quiet. Liked the gym, which is pretty well equipped and water filters on each floor. The hotel was also very accommodating with a late check out. Will definitely stay again.

New ZealandAC a bit noisy, Basic tv (seems the fashion now is to bring you own you tube or Netflix on your phone to Chromecast on their tv) which I couldn't do as I didn't have the correct scanning app for the hotels system. Very small bedroom, toilet & shower. Glad I'm not tubby.

PhilippinesThere was no bottled water provided in the room, and the common water fountain on our floor wasn’t working, which was really inconvenient. For the price, bottled water should definitely be included. The room itself was also quite small for the price we paid. Additionally, the shower products (shampoo and conditioner) had a very strong, overly masculine scent. I don’t usually have sensitive reactions, but the smell was overpowering and unpleasant.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness throughout the property was excellent. The facilities were well-maintained and had everything we needed. The gym was just alright—basic but fine for a quick workout. The location was also great—close to everything we needed and very convenient. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay!
