WiFi not working at all. Shower leaking and moldy. Needed microwave. PILLOWS WERE TERRIBLE

Room wasn't properly cleaned, bugs were stuck to most of the surfaces and the whole place is run down and not looked after, didn't feel particularly safe or clean for my stay but was fine for 1 night as a stop over, wouldn't recommend as sure there must be similary priced other ones that would be better!

Metal floor bathrooms are a bit gross, showers got the floor wet all around the toilet, so needed to wear shoes in the bathroom. Walls were quite thin and could hear babies crying in the night

Very rundown hotel. Shower leaked all over the floor and onto the carpet in the room. Made using the bathroom extremely difficult. Bed and pillows were next level uncomfortable and to top it off there were blood stains on the duvet. Partner had to go hunting for a mug, which was sorted by the lovely housekeeping staff who live onsite. Would like a refund!

Was pretty rundown. carpets that have been outside for a very long time so are slimy and slippy.

Room was small and pokey, the facilities were terrible, the surrounding area was very poorly maintained. The cost is over the top. It would be good it your hosts could understand English. Was very disappointed that a refund was not given, after not being able to stay the second night due to my husband taking ill, and having to go by ambulance to Greymouth.

Smell in drain when shower used. Need better bed and pillows

We have never stayed in a hostel before. As there were limited accommodation options we were grateful to book a private room and ensuite. We were actually pleasantly surprised how clean it was! The bed and pillows were very arrange, and there was a smell from drain in shower when it was used. But as it was very clean were were very happy

Very basic and over priced for what is offered compared with other places. Extra for towels is crazy when paying these prices!! It’s very tatty too! More of a hostel than a hotel!

Very run down, female toilets ran out of toilet paper, bathroom sinks very dirty. Kitchen disappointing, very little equipped and messy. You won't find a fridge in the kitchen, but the receptionist will tell you where it's hidden! No socialising as there was almost no-one there.

Every dorm bed has a couple of sockets, good light and a curtain. No lockers but good storage space for big luggage. Pretty exceptional. Wifi worked well. Room was cold but luckily, the heater worked. It's very quiet as there are very few quests. You have good chances of being in your dorm alone, as I was.

Bathroom space was hardly even standing room for 1 person. There was an issue with the water that was supposedly town wide but it meant we had no water to shower or flush the toilet...not ideal!

Was comfortable but you get what you pay for and it is very budget.

There was no one at the reception to receive us during check-in as well as check-out. Only a notice was placed on the counter stating of our room number etc.

This motel provides respite from the rain. The room was dirty (used tissue under my daughters bed). The bathroom had a kitchen tap on a small basin that overflowed if the tap wS turned on too hard. Hosts could not tell me any information about road closures or glacier visiting, nor where was a good place to eat. I did see the wifi password in the wall when I checked out, but this was not provided at check in
