With the potential for about 9-10 people to be in the house at one time, it was a little inconvenient to have only 1 bathroom; and the toilet in the bathroom, rather than separate. It might have been useful to have a couple extra towels or a mop to dry the bathroom floor, which seemed to be a bit damp after several people had showered.

It was clean, and quiet overnight. Good space to cook/eat/relax. Good on-street parking.

The pillows are very very thick, about double or triple than we normally use. I feel it’s gonna break my neck. I use couple towel instead.

The stock in the apartment of basics was quite limited. There were no hand towels in the bathroom. There wasn’t any cutting board in the kitchen, and the kitchen rubbish bag was too small for the bin. But they did take the garbage out every day.

The beds were very comfortable and the lounge was nice.

Maybe the fact that 1 room was open and had been used the previous night (bed not made) plus the fact that someone’s footwear was still in the bathroom, in my mind it raised the question of cleaning after guests leave. But in saying that the whole house was clean enough for even the picky people like me.

This accommodation certainly is not new, but it is very clean, premises quiet and totally served our needs nicely..2 adults plus 11yo child. Thank you.

The bathroom wasn’t clean it had soap scum in the dish. Being a shared bathroom should have been cleaned daily and not shared soap either. Would have been nice to know when other were staying also as people turn up at all hrs.

did online arrival time of 5pm to 6pm so host would know I'm coming and when. Got email stating keys would be in letterbox. No keys. checked email then rang one of the two cell numbers on the email. No reply. With bated breath I rang other number, eventually answered. Told me to check letterbox which I had already done. Lady makes a call to the cleaner then rings me back. Someone will be down soon with keys. Guy arrived after a while with keys and let me in. all this made me late for an evening meal with friends, as I now only had 10 minutes to get ready and go., Pain in the butt. Place was cold as all hell down stairs so didn't spend time there, just to make tea and snacks. Facilities good but basic. Shower needed a good clean as did the kitchen table. On reflection it had everything I needed for a short stay. room was warmed by good heater, kitchen had all you need for short stay.

The toilet were dirty, there were mushroom at the shower and bits of hair everywhere (some on the soap as well) and i think the sheets smells a bit funny

The location was great but the cleanliness of the apartment was pathetic. The bathroom and toilet was dirty. My family did not even felt like hitting the shower. The owners did not advise us we have to share the house with all the facilities with other guests.

The owner/manager lives on the property and left his dirty underwear on the floor in front of the toilet overnight, also had their shoes, towel, toiletries and food laying around. If we had gotten up to use the bathroom in the night and had come across a man walking around naked I’d have been getting authorities involved. I understand that the whole property was not reserved for us but we were expecting another guest, not another guest AND the owner. In a conversation with the other guest they also expressed their disgust at the dirty underwear being left by the toilet too and they were concerned over the possibility of what their children might have seen. Was not pleasant and the property description is very misleading. Worst stay ever, I won’t be back and have reported it to booking.com

This property should be advertised as a 3 bedroomed house suitable for a family. It has only one toilet which is in the one and only bathroom. Quite unsuitable for strangers sharing.

We enjoyed the house when we had the sole use of it on our second night. It was very comfortable, excellent heating reasonably well equipped kitchen

Worst linen I’ve ever slept in. Fleecy sheets that were itchy. The biggest, hardest, heaviest pillows with only one each. Luckily I had my blowup travel pillow. Our bedroom was tiny with no cooling.

We were expecting to find an apartment. We arrived to a shared student style house, (when the description had mentioned apartments) and a 'For Sale' sign which was not at all what we had expected The host sent details of where to find the key but was not onsite. They indicated that other guests would be staying. We actually left 5 minutes after arriving and found somewhere else to stay. We felt that the description of the property was very misleading. We were expecting at least a private bathroom but in fact we found one (not very clean) bathroom which also contained the only toilet in a house that potentially held 9+ people. Although the description clearly stated that there was a shared kitchen (which was fine) it did not say that the bathroom was shared and, in fact, was quite misleading. We were very disappointed and left immediately, leaving the key behind and alerting the host. If we had known, we would not have booked this property so my sincere suggestion would be to change the description to make clear what the bathroom/toilet arrangements actually are. The description also referred to 'apartments' which we also felt was disingenuous...this is a very tired house that was advertised as apartments...(I notice that, since our experience, the description has been changed...) One of the rooms stated a shared bathroom and the others did not. We booked under the impression that our room was in an apartment where we would not be sharing a bathroom. The room itself was upstairs and the bathroom ( not very clean) was downstairs which does not suit our needs. None of this was clear on the original description or photographs. The house is run down and uncared for and for sale and did not reflect the description nor the photographs. We had to find another place to stay at very short notice.

The only toilet was in the shower room The house is up for sale, so while it has new carpet the rest of the place is very tired. Communication was very poor. Didn't feel comfortable there.
