Reviews of Guest Suite St Clair Beach

It was a very short stay for us but we've enjoyed it. No cooking facilities, coffee machine is easy to use with capsule, it is a room with en suite bathroom that is part of the host's house. The room was comfortable, heating was adequate. Room environment very quiet at night and comfortable to sleep. Bathroom is wonderful and tastefully designed.

My husband mentioned to me that the portable heater unit for the bedroom made some noise which he was sensitive to, so he switched it off but the room temperature was still comfortable, we used the heating blankets and the bed was comfortable and warm enough to sleep in.

Very tidy and cozy. Felt nice and secure.

It was advertised as a unit but it was at the back of owners property. Two yapping dogs that followed us from the front to the back. Very disappointed.

Perfect for being close to the beach/esplanade, without the noise of the beach and traffic!

Suggest you put a doormat inside the door to save the carpet on wet days. Also put some kind of durable cover on the sideboard to save its surface. These are just suggestions for your sake - we really lived our stay there.

Lovely comfortable room with everything you need for a few nights stay. Fabulous shower! Comfortable bed. In a good location for local amenities- shops, cafes and restaurants, close to a bus stop and a short walk to the beach. Would stay again and would recommend.

There was no TV in the room, that didn't bother us as we were out most of the time, might be a problem if the weather isn't good. Ensure you have a good book with you.

The room is a sanctuary is a beautiful neighbourhood, along even more beautiful beach. Everything is clean, bright and super-comfortable. First cup of tea of the day taken on the sunny deck is pure bliss.

(Everything was perfect.) We had a fridge but were also kindly provided with a microwave so we had a hot meal, too.

There was no breakfast supplied.

As they were not giving us breakfast, they should have told us, so we could have brought some food. There was a toaster but we had no bread to toast. There was only one chair for 2 people. So one had to sit on the bed. It was expensive for the little we got.

Lovely private easy access accommodation in a pretty garden. Clean, tasteful room and ensuite with top quality bedding and linen. No TV but I enjoyed the current magazines provided!

not serviced / no Tv - website does not say there isn't one / website says free parking - was booked but not provided / no cooking facility / no table to eat at / no rubbish bin in bathroom / no clothes hooks in bathroom / only one easy chair for two guests / no kitchenette to wash dishes / washing dishes in the hand basin is unhygienic / sheets did not look ironed /pillows slips not ironed - a no no / owners dogs barked whenever guests entered & exited day & night / outside sensor light went on & off continuously at night causing disturbed sleep / previous adverse reviews not actioned

Excellent location. Great facilities. Very comfy bed.

Pillows were a bit thin but apart from that was all good.

We stayed 3 nights. The location of the suite is very nice. It was very safe and easy parking. Restaurants and beach all a 5 min walk away. Bus stop at end of the road perfect to take to the city. The bed was so comfy and given plenty of types of heat- radiator & heated blanket! The shower was nice and linen lovely. Coffee and wifi provided.

We are dog people, love our dog. But the two little dogs bark all the time especially when left at home alone. So just be prepared especially if you aren’t dog people. There also isn’t a tv. Which is no big deal for a night but multiple nights would have been nice!

Cosy but adequate for a one-night stop which was exactly what we wanted. Ideally located for us to go to The Esplanade in St Clair.

Bit tricky using the security locks on gate and getting suitcases through but OK. Maybe trim the bush by the gate.

Comfortable bed Lovely clean and spacious bathroom with an absolutely wonderful shower. Nespresso machine and 4 pods. An amazing bonus was that there were also some Pukka teas which are our favourite!
