Such wonderful attention to detail. Very comfortable bed with linen sheets - my favourite! Large bathroom. Extremely quiet - well insulated. Very clean. Excellent location - walk to shops and cafes/restaurants.

This apartment is a treasure! It is spacious, luxuriously decorated and very well equipped. Location is as central as it gets without being noisy. Host communication was fluent and superfriendly. We we very happy with our stay on a rainy Easter: we felt at home and cozy as we sheltered from the storm. Thank you!

Everything was pretty good actually. We found the apartment to be quite warm and should have opened the windows more often (the sun streamed through the windows as we had fabulous weather) but we're not used to the black fly so prevalent in NZ and didn't know if they'd be around and come inside (it seems that no-one in New Zealand installs bug screens on their windows). There's one other apartment and we were a bit worried the old creaky floorboards might wake them if we moved around late at night or early in the morning. Very minor issues for an otherwise fabulous 2-night stay.

This spacious apartment with high ceilings was surprisingly quiet given its location on a corner which includes the main street. We parked in one of the allocated carparks at the back (off street) and could then walk to a range of restaurants. Woolworths is diagonally opposite, again, extremely convenient! It's only a 15 minute drive to the various water taxi services that provide drop off points within the Abel Tasman National Park.

Beautiful old apt with so much character. Loved all the thoughtful extras provided, really made it feel like a boutique stay. Generous sized rooms, all necessary amenities provided (+ more) and really comfortable. Fabulous location as right in town so close to everything, but not too noisy. Late sun on deck as well! A fabulous stay all in all ... Thankyou!

There is nothing we didn't like

So happy that I came across this wonderful gem when I was looking for a couple of nights accommodation in Motueka. I remember the old post office from when I was a child and have great memories of banking my 50cents and getting a stamp on my hand. To see the care taken in restoring this beautiful building and keeping the unique features and with luxurious furnishings, bedding, generous in every way, towels and everything you could ever need and want made for a wonderful stay. We really felt at home and enjoyed being right in the centre of town, close to everything but most of all we loved just chilling out snuggled into the lovely couch, abundant feather filled cushions and lovely soft rugs, reading and recharging our batteries. It was bliss and we will be recommending to our friends and will be back to stay again.

Everything! Superb location and very easy check-in with welcome message on the door was lovely. Inside was already warm and cosy, and the apartment was better than the photos. Lots of thoughtful touches - fresh coffee beans and grinder, selection of loose teas, chocolate, abundance of towels, Sky TV. Super comfortable beds and the whole place was full of character. Even though it was right on the High Street, it was quiet but easy to shop or wander to cafes. Perfect!
