New ZealandNo blinds on back windows and door, and lack of privacy on front bedroom windows (no nets and could see in). Dogs barking constantly in the private quarters when we arrived which prevented us being able to rest after a long drive and we ended up having to go out to get away from the noise, but after that initial occasion we had no other problems with them.

New ZealandWe loved the location, the cleanliness, and the price. We thought there was a hidden cost or it was too good to be true, but it was just as it said. The owners were very responsive and were very courteous as we let them know we were arriving late so they close the curtains and put the heaters on for us so the apartment would be nice,cozy and warm. We felt safe and my teens loved space to relax after our long days out. Thank you very much to Paul and his wife for making our stay nice and cozy. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone going to Whakatane or Ohope areas

Nice tidy property. Roomy with all the facilities you'll need for your stay. Property is warm with heating in the living room and bedroom adequately heating the whole unit. Sofa converts into extra bed. Bathroom is roomy and kitchen has a good sized fridge/freezer, microwave and bench top oven/airfryer. There was also a small plug in hotplate. Small area outback with a picnic table and a view. Both living and bedroom have wall mounted flat screens. Good value.
