Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not directly to the property, we just didn't get the opportunity to sit outside around the table to take in the sun and have a BBQ. Looked like an ideal place to BBQ.
The property was excellent. There was a little hiccup at the start of our booking. The house was not completely cleaned due to our late booking and the change over. This was communicated well with the hosts and we came to an excellent arrangement that satisfied both of us.

Lovely house. Nicely set up with extra stuff to do other than TV. It is well equipped and a great position and quite cosy even in winter.

Would have been nice to use the master bedroom wardrobe but it wasn't a biggie as the room was spacious.
Very easy process to get into the property with a door code. It worked well for us all to use whenever any of us went out.

As soon as we entered the property, it felt warm and cozy. Kids found the bikes and planned their adventures. We got settled and went to the beach, which is a short walk from the house. Had classic fish and chips for dinner, which again was just up the road, and we settled in for a family game night all games provided by the house. I had my 5 month old daughter and Mel (manager of the property) you were amazing, making sure i had everything i needed for my little one, which made my life easier. We will definitely be staying again.

Shower pressure wasn't strong enough.
Kitchen and lounge was great. Very spacious and comfortable. Had great amenities. Beautiful deck to relax on. Bedrooms were decent sizes. Nice short stroll to beach. Highly recommend this place.

Very convenient location. Close to the beach, close to shopping for essentials, close to Mount Manganui. This house really feels like a very well maintained home. Enjoyed to cook a quick breakfast and dinner in the well equipped modern kitchen. The board games, pool table, and darts are super fun on rainy days. This home even has a Playstation and four bikes (next time, we'll try them too. It's hard to beat this home. Can't wait to return.

The mattresses were slightly hard but that is a personal preference. We all slept well.
The house is designed well for a family stay. Beds were beautifully made with plenty of warm blankets for a winter night. The kids really made use of the games room and had plenty to keep them busy. The adults enjoyed the comfort of the open lounge and the well equipped kitchen.

There was a small washing line but also an additional clothes horse which was helpful for a longer stay.
The home was very spacious, room for everyone to have their own space. The garage was set up as a games room with lots of entertainment for kids and adults. The kitchen had all the little basics you have at home but don't think to take away (glad wrap, paper towels, tissues) but make your stay easier. Lots of extra blankets and pillows for comfort.

Mix up in laundry supplies (no bathmats, small towels, tea-towels) but arrived next day after discussion with contact person. No dishwashing liquid under sink (though a lot of other 'cleaners').
Very close to beach (walk through path next door). Lovely open kitchen/dining/lounge area. Good furniture and 'play' equipment (in garage) for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
