Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandThey need a number listed in the room for concerns/emergencies, there were people in a car outside our room from the moment we got there (at 4pm) until we got back from being out at dinner (around 10) which seemed very odd. We didn't know if they had a room or if they were planning to stay in their car overnight and it was weird enough that we slept with all the windows closed a. From their noise, b. Safety, which meant it was a hot sleep overnight as no AC and the fan could only do so much. Did need a dust on little ledges around the place. Could do with a mini face-lift with some things like discoloration of grout on the sinks and more attention to details like white paint brush marks on black fixtures, latches on the windows so you could feel safe but still let air in, the blind need some TLC, upgraded showers, flannels provided and our soap dispenser lid kept falling off. Just those little things that make it feel in person as modern as the photos. If you're after a soft bed I suggest booking their motel option which looked like it had more hotel-like beds. We had a studio and the beds were hard. Other than that if you're just after a tidy and cheap place to stay it fits that brief well. We would stay again.
Easy check-in even after hours, they were proactive in letting us know where the key would be when we turned up. The place is very tidy, our beds were beautifully made and for the price and the fact we were only there to sleep it was great and would stay again. Only minor critiques.

New ZealandThe girls I shared the 4dorm room with had there phones out standing up facing the beds, one had her computer facing the door. One girl was always asking me to unlock the door, she also told me not to lock the room if I'm inside the room. It became exhausting

New ZealandI thought I had read somewhere that we were to be charged extra if we used the linen, so we didn't use it. We also brought our own pillows.
Great value for money. Loved that it was backpacker low key style, but lots of outdoor space. The gardens were beautifully kept. We were on a tight budget, so this place helped us achieve our goals. Loved the fridge storage space in shared kitchen.

New ZealandNo Coat hangers on walls or behind doors to pop your clothes on, no shelf in showers to put shampoo containers etc and not much space to store toiletries items in bathroom.
I liked that it's more like a unit complex (room wise) and the Kitchen was Large. Plenty of Space for cooking, eating and Storage.

Australiano air-conditioning in rooms made it feel like an oven at times during summer, some dishes weren't too clean. Seemed like others were sleeping in common area couches to escape the heat in their own rooms. Location was far from the city centre, not walkable to anywhere

AustraliaSheet set and duvet cover are cheap thin polyester, not the type you'd expect from hotelling. Duvet was too thin and there was no blanket despite still being cold in the evening. Admittedly I didn't ask for an extra blanket which I'm sure I would've been given. The mattress was very firm. A topper would've helped. A coat rack or hooks for hats, jackets, bags and keys would have been handy as there is no chair or table in the room and the bedside table has slats. Likewise a rug in between the beds for cold feet would've been nice. The water pressure and stream in the shower was disappointing but at least it was very hot and the bathroom roomy.
Convenient location, off street quiet complex, lots of parking close to accommodation for ease of luggage transfer, clean, towels and bathmat, soap dispenser in shower and at basin, radiator wall heater (on timer), 4 plush pillows. Friendly, helpful manager and family.

United KingdomThe oven in the kitchen was broken, and a lot of the pans had the handles hanging off. We managed for the few days we were there, but a longer stay might have started to wear thin.
The staff were fantastic and reception opening hours were long so you could speak to them up until 9pm. The double en-suite room was like a little cabin, shower and toilet facilities were lovely.
