Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Surrounded by beautiful fruit trees, quiet, lovely little Chalet with everything you need, comfortable bed, just a 2 minute stroll to the Black Olive for some yummy pizza or pasta, supermarket & cafes

No microwave, but made do with other cooking facilities to reheat food up. Not a biggy for me but if you're expecting a microwave there isnt one
Host sorted me the correct chalet for me and my kuri as I booked the wrong one ad I was traveling with my kuri.Very helpful and friendly. Tidy clean and shower has good pressure. Heat pump was great. Private

We loved everything about the Motel. Our welcome was warm and friendly 😊, our chalet was super comfortable, had everything we needed and bathroom was super roomy. The location was perfect, walking distance into town. We would definitely stay again, maybe next time with more of the family.

Uncomfortable bed but ok for a short stay. Kitchen sparsely equipped but ok if you don't plan to cook meals.
Convenient location, close to town and amenities, walking distance. Good size and clean. Quiet setting. Good water pressure in the shower.

We just needed more tea bags ha-ha & milk as on a 3-night stay over the weekend.
Location was great as handy to Kerikeri township /Paihia / Opua. Love it that we can bring our dog and just relax with him and take him on walks on the grounds and around town

The rain but that couldn’t be helped.
Was a lovely little chalet perfect for our needs. Was great being able to bring our fur baby too. Also very stoked that we could watch the warriors from the comfort of our chalet rather than venture outside in the rain.

Kitchen could have been a little better equipped - no freezer and crockery was limited. Hot water ran out each day when showering (4 people, shortish showers)
Great location, easy walk to town. Nice and quiet, everything was clean and well serviced each day.

Nothing - it was great.
Excellent location - walking distance to town and amenities. Sarah (the host) was very helpful and friendly. The room was a last minute booking due to a flight cancellation, but Sarah was very happy to accommodate me and was very helpful. The room has recently been refurbished and has all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. It was clean, airy and bright. Despite being near a busy road, the room was very quiet and I slept incredibly well :) I would happily book to stay here again.

Advertised that select sky channels are available but they were either - not available. Or I, was unable to access them! A sheer curtain (in conjunction with the main blackout curtain) would've been ideal, to allow light in but give privacy during the day for the large slider door/window. Bed was a bit on the soft side but I understand you cannot please everyone as we all have differing preferences
Great location. Wonderful on site setup. Cabins and chalets are brilliant, and nice and clean. Netflix available with their own on site account - so I didn't have to login etc. Good blackout curtain for main entrance / window / slider. I hate light seeping in before I wake up!

This is our fourth time staying at Kerigold so obviously we really like it. The location is excellent, the studio chalet was a good size and the bathroom was huge. The place itself is quiet and peaceful. The staff and owners are very nice and helpful. There were a couple of downsides - both easy to fix. The first was that we stayed for 6 nights but there only 2 hangers in the wardrobe between the 2 of us. We meant to ask for more but we had a full-on week so didn't get around to it. Maybe consider adding a few more? The second was that the studio units get very hot at night. Even with the air-con on, we still found it tricky to get the temperature right. If there had been one or two fly screens on the windows, we could have slept with the windows open which would have been more pleasant. However, overall it was great and it would still be our first choice as a place to stay in Kerikeri.

We both loved the modern bathroom and set up in the studio. Was plenty of room to park and we were allowed to have our dog which is a huge saving and convenience or us. Would definitely stay again
