Only the bed, a bit soft for us

We have stayed several times before( we only live an hour and a bit away:), and it is our destination of choice when we have a special occasion, like our Wedding Anniversary this week! We love everything about our stays at Larnach!

I love this place, the breakfast is awesome snd the tour of the castle and garden is always a winner. The views from the tower are fabulous.

The whole experience from arriving to leaving was excellent. The staff are very pleasant and informative. The Trust the Chef 4 course dining was exceptional and we will definately recommend an overnight stay to anyone.

Arrived in dark, was bit hard to find where to go. Showers and toilet block in stables were very dated.

We stayed in the lodge and the rooms were all individual and all had a fabulous view. You could walk around the grounds of the castle when it was closed to the public.

Dinner was expensive and the main course of duck was tough.

A very pleasant welcome from the gate keeper and the receptionist. The room was up-stairs but was large and had a lovely view. We had booked dinner in the castle and this included pre-dinner drinks. The drinks room and dining room were both lovely. Breakfast was included and was served in the old stables. The location was lovely and the food adequate. The accommodation cost included a self-guided tour of the castle during opening hours. This was very interesting.

Unique boutique experience. Beautiful gardens. Convenient for a visit to the albatross center. Great dinner in the castle dining room.

The room was very good, with great views over the peninsular. Bed was comfortable and facilities good. Breakfast (included) was served in the stables and was excellent. A full cooked breakfast well done. Admission to the castle is included with a stay so that was appreciated.

Bed wasn’t the best but to be honest everything about the experience because it is an experience outweighed that one minor thing we didn’t like

Such great value for money, staff were amazing, view from our room was spectacular and the breakfast was great Hearing and seeing native birds in such a quiet and beautiful setting was a highlight Definitely recommend booking the dinner too Have to really give credit to the wonderful staff employed at Larnach

The mattress was pretty soft. But still able to sleep.

The breakfast was really amazing, with a fantastic selectrion of food. Having fresh milk available for our room in the small fridge on the landing was great. The staff were friendly and professional.

Every thing was wonderful just like being in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. For us much easier to get to only 3 hours travel instead of 30 hours. Dinner in the castle 🏰 was a great experience.

Bed wasnt the comfiest - solid pillow and lumpy mattress. Recommend bringing your own pillow for comfort.

Delicious breakfast with both continental and cooked available in the stable. Lovely, helpful staff and characterful room/location. Bonus of the free entry to the castle and grounds which were nice to see.
