The no stair access to the basement was a bit weird as my friend is a bit scared of elevators

Of course, no windows or views anywhere. But am only here in the nights and frankly grown used to it given everything else it offers.

This has become my usual place for a night's stay in Auckland. Amazing value for money, it's basic but clean, safe and comfortable. Wifi quality is excellent and shared kitchen is never too busy. Highly under rated.

There were no coffee/ tea available. I was also under the impression that I had an ensuite toilet and just had to share the showers as this was written on the description. The room did not contain a table to sit at for study. I also wasn’t keen on not seeing any of proprietors of hostel at all and had to rely on photos provided to obtain the key. That saying, I managed to get the key after studying all those photos.

Very clean and tidy both the room and the bathrooms and hallways. Very central to Auckland cbd and university.

Super close to spark arena, and 10 minute walk to main train station, perfect accommodation for those wanting to attend concerts! Clean and tidy no frills just what I was after.

be careful of what you're looking to book, the cheaper rooms do not have windows it can be really hot and loud if your room is in the street side

the staff was really helpful toilets and bathrooms are cleaned twice a day, so it is really clean the facilities are nice, but please clean after yourself after cooking

The lock in doors did not work from the outside also the instructions regarding the luggage room wasn't clear - whether it was included or extra

Not a ton of atmosphere or sociability. The building is more about function than beauty. The walls were thin so you could hear other people talking and closing doors.

This place is great for a night or two. The room had a bed, night stand with warm light lamp, towels for the shower, and was clean and comfortable. Really functional but it has everything you need for a stay, and to get a private room at this price in Auckland is amazing. The location is decent: near a big Woolworths and a short walk to Britomart.

Photos are great, but they don't mention you won't have a window which is claustrophobic and feels like a prison. I assume there is people that likes this, but not in my case. Bed and pillows are also uncomfortable so I only stayed there for the price.

The location of this hostel is fantastic! Super close to the grocery store and the Auckland city center. This is by no means luxury accommodation, but it was clean, quiet, convenient, and I felt safe the entire six nights I stayed there.

- Very hot in room with minimal ventilation, might be better for winter months - Walked into building and felt a 10°c increase in temperature
