Ridiculous toilet set up. Toilet is in the room with insufficient sound or odour insulation as there is a gap over the partition into the shower. Screen not entirely private either. This means one of the guests has to leave the room to afford the other a normal degree of privacy. Why is this considered a good design?

You don't get a lot of privacy in the bathroom, this was ok for us but others may not like it

A couple of plates and cutlery would've been handy.

Location was perfect and quiet. The staff were fabulous, and the little extras (choice of milk etc) were a lovely touch. Loved the fact that we could park there.

Loved this boutique hotel - decor, location, facilities. Rooms were large and very well appointed. We had a car which we parked in the convenient hotel property parking which was worth the few extra dollars with great convenience. Location can't be beat. Close to everything: viaduct, shopping on Customs/Queens malls, Sky Tower. Their staff answered many questions over email very quickly.

I booked this place as a gift for a couple after looking up reviews. Very happy with my dealing over the phone with a female staff member who was happy to oblige to my requests. The couple had a fantastic time and they said they couldn't recommend this place enough. They would definitely go back! They loved the spa pool, the breakfast was lovely and an added bonus of being served authentic Chai by an Indian chef. Walking distance to the via duct so location is super convenient, parking is available at cost but very practically priced. Booked a suite & were upgraded to Premium Suite. Thank you to all staff!

Yummy breakfast. Range of different milk available. Lovely staff. Had a few minor issues with lights not turning on and water on bathroom floor after a shower (user error not the hotel's fault) which were both fixed very quickly. Fantastic location right in the heart of the viaduct. Great to have hotel parking available as well. It was my partner's birthday & we loved the complimentary drinks & sweets on arrival.

I just loved the idea of the vinil but unfortunately in my room the player wasn’t working so well.

Everything! Is all starts of the location and the lovely neighborhood. So close to the marine that you can feel the ocean breeze. All the retro decor in the room were really beautiful and gives us this comfy atmosphere. Full of big windows, that let lots of Sun come in. The bed is extremely comfortable, make you sleep like in heavens. All the staff very kind and ready to assist you with whatever you need. Just loved my stay that I’ve extended some more nights.

unfortuantely the pool was being renovated at the time of my stay, would have been nice if that was open

location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance to the main attratctions of auckland CBD. The room was well appointed and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were excellent and car parking on site was easy and a fair rate.
