Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

I think a modern large mirror on the dining table wall would make a big difference. Remove one single bed in lounge and replace with a sofa bed. Remove the old gardens outside for extra car parking and ease to move around in a vehicle. Lights on the main sign outside is a must!
I liked all the facilities, it was like having a small home to stay in. Perfectly comfy.

No one in the office, difficult to communicate with an Australian phone to coordinate payment.
Plenty of linen changed daily, laundry available late.

General place needed a spruce up eg paint all over. Toliet walls very rough looking. On arrival problem with getting the right code for door. Also very difficult to find . Signage outside needs renewing. Needs to light up.
Good facilities in apartment eg full oven, fridge a bit old , beds comfy. Towels changed every day. Good heat pump.Sofa bed very uncomfortable to sit on as only seating in lounge.

I thought the bedding covers were very out dated and the fold out sofa was very hard

We missed a door in our sleeping room, not only as acoustic isolation, but also from the light from the kitchen in the morning. The wifi was quite slow, but that is a minor thing.
Good place to spend a couple of nights, we never had direct contact in person with the host, but the exchange via messages was prompt, precise and friendly.

Found the beds too firm for my liking. However partner works for bed company and explained it’s normal for longer wear and tear. If we stayed again we’d bring a topper.
I liked the quiet area. Being in room 1 was ideal for us rather than being closer to the front. It had what we needed in the room. Lounge chair really comfortable

Our initial room had an odor that after a short time burnt in your throat and nose, when we advised them of this they changed us to another apartment, and this one was comfortable for our stay.

Spiders and cob web were there in the ceiling. Wasn't aware that there are red ants. There is no sponge scrub to clean the dishes. It was a bit difficult to clean the utensils with brush. No bins for recycle waste.
Beds, towels, kitchen utensils are fine.

The rooms look a little outdated.

Furniture, bedspreads, carpets and kitchen were all extremely dated. Oven door didn’t close properly, one of the plugs in the kitchen didn’t work. Some cracked and peeling paint.
Unit had everything needed and was nice to have 2 bedrooms for such a reasonable price.

We couldn't find a cheese grater or potato peeler in the kitchen.
The staff are extremely helpful & friendly. Very clean motel, in a great location. The two bedroom unit is very spacious and cosy. Amazing value for money.

We liked the area the comfort and that it suited our fur baby..Just needs a little updating.. little bit of wear and tear..Has great potential would look great with a lick of paint and maybe more flower gardens to brighten the landscape

Access not clearly visible to steep driveway. Shower height great for very small people not good if you are tall, nearly have to kneel down to get under it. Doors need better locks at the rear although front door access is good. Adequate apartment to sleep in. TV channels very limited.
Location good, 10 minutes walk from beach and shops.
