Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandWasnt happy that had to be inside in guests house for first night becausr of double booking. And thought that if you are a paying guest, should you really have to remove your own rubbish. Wouldnt that be house cleaners job? And no laundry facility.either.
Liked the tiny house.

AustraliaAmount of people parking in surrounding streets to go to the stadium
Went to watch the football at the stadium nearby. Location was ideal for us. Quiet street except for people parking to go to the stadium. Cannot fault the hosts who were very accommodating. Would recommend staying here.

New ZealandSmaller than I imagined, bit cramped with the table and chairs inside, so nowhere to put your suitcase. Had to put the table out on the deck to fit my bags. Pillows way too soft. The outside really needs some attention. Overgrown grass and weeds make it look really untidy and unwelcoming. Some nice plants and a garden would make sitting outside so much more enjoyable. Difficult to find the switch for the hot water, instructions say it's inside the wardrobe...there is no switch in the wardrobe but I did find two switches around the side of the tiny home and turned them on, not sure if they were for the hot water or not but the hot water seemed to work after that. TV would not turn on at all. Make sure the slide door is locked properly if you're there for more than one night as the latch pops up if you try to open the door.
It had everything I needed for my stay. Bed was ok, but duvet was a little short because it was tucked in too much at the end of the bed Nice deck and egg chair for relaxing In a cul de sac so the area was really quiet

New ZealandNo real problems. The fridge is a bit noisy at night, so we turned it off. The room is very small, but that's what you expect with a tiny house.
Walking distance to a concert we were going to at Go Media Stadium. Hassle-free check in. Parking on property. Generally quiet. Slept well.

AustraliaBed a bit firm. No air-con/fan, room got a touch warm. Location was okay if you have a car, but not many food options late at night.
Love tiny homes. Hosts were communicative. Quiet. Cosy. Private. Well equipped. It was a lovely spot, not in the noisy hustle and bustle of the city.

New ZealandThe listing looked more polished than the place actually was. Was expecting the tiny house to be in a garden. Was more of a scrappy section. The hammock chair on the deck could've been amazing as the area was nice and quiet, but the cushions on the chair could do with a wash/refresh and the outlook left me not wanting to use the outdoor space. Was a shame as it was very hot, and this space is needed when the tiny house was cooling down after being closed up. No top sheet. Only two pillows. Could do with two more. TV only used chrome cast with streaming apps. As I don't have these there was nothing I could watch. Disappointed about this as watching TV is a treat of staying away. Booking.com instruction for access didn't come though on time so had to phone owner for assistance. They picked up first time and access were sorted immediately. However, the listing said owners live in the main house on the property. At the time of my stay, the main house was also being Airbnb-ed. I would like to have known this for safety reasons.
Was nice and quiet. Basic corner shops really close. Thai food was great! Bed was pretty comfortable. Was able to walk to mornings destination safely along residential streets.

New ZealandThe grass leading up to the yard was long and just devalued the tiny houses appearance a little, maybe access to a bigger rubbish bin and maybe access to recycling would of been convenient especially since I was up for 3 nights I also had a hard time exiting with my bags as the tiny gap left between cars to get out was awkward but these a tiny negative things and the positive things def out way the bad
Clean tidy and very functional. Comfy bed and very, very quiet, I liked that I didn't have to be responsible for keys to be able to lock up. It was so close to where I needed to be. It was nice to be able to have a hot chocolate with milk. It was a lovely touch, I'd definitely book again

New ZealandAn oil column heater would be a better choice as fan heaters are noisy and can’t be left on safely while asleep. Would be great to be able to keep the bathroom door closed while not in use.

United KingdomThese are small things but the blinds have a gap between the 2, so not full privacy when the lights on. ( Though no-one in the garden). The sliding bathroom door wouldn't stay shut from the main room. Hot chocolate and tea or coffee sachets offered which was great, but needed some powdered milk. However these things would not have stopped me booking, just ideas.
The location suited me perfectly as I was near to the camper van address I needed for the following day. I am female and was on my own but felt completely safe. I met one of the hosts who was very friendly. The room was really peaceful and the bed very comfortable. Although it is a compact tiny house I didn't feel cramped, quite spacious bedding area. Nice decking and seating outside.

New ZealandI think the parking instructions could have been clearer as we didn't know where to park on arrival. The door locking system was difficult because you had to kneel down to use the keypad. It would be difficult for someone who wasn't physically able. It was also difficult at night trying to read the keypad and without sufficient lighting.
The location was a surprise, it appeared to be in a state housing area. We wrongly assumed that access was down a driveway, and we would be parked right outside. It would be difficult to transport your bags during rainy weather. Perhaps showing that in the pictures or explaining it would be helpful. We were there for a night, but I would have paid the same for a regular hotel. We chose the Tiny House for the experience, but I don't think the location reflected an experience that we would have chosen to pay for. It was ok for a quick doss-down overnight and then off again.

New ZealandI received no instructions for access. I phoned several times for an answer phone. I couldn’t secure the Tinyhouse because the bolt wouldn’t work. The lockbolt is 100mm off the deck. You have to get on hands and knees to read the shiny tumbler numbers with a phone torch. Quite ridiculous. The Tinyhouse experience was underwhelming. Sorry hosts, I run an Airbnb, and if I did the same things as the experience I had at your Tinyhouse, I would get the same comments I am giving you. Fancy not even sending me a personal “Welcome to our Tinyhouse” email.
The location for work.
