Sadly there were road works all night for 2 nights. Obviously not something that should happen again-fingers crossed. Very comfy bed but the pillows were all far too soft. Most disappointing though was the state of the mattress 🤢 and the bed linen was very worn and pulled.

The location was perfect for me. Central to everything-buses and trains. Supermarket and dining opportunities

The windows rattling with the hard wind that was blowing. Kind of kept me up most the night. Climbing the stairs with my 3 suitcases was a mission, wish there was a lift.

Non contactable easy checkin!! The room was perfect for me and i had a comfortable sleep.

A few minor gripes. Dishes were not particularly clean, there wasn’t a tea towel, only a damp microfibre cloth. Cold wet sponge rubber bathmat also unappreciated by my wife.

Location was good for where we wanted to be on Sunday morning, communication through app was excellent.

Nice location, has a parking in a separated site in the back, but it works fine. Clean and cozy. Close to restaurants and shops. I would definitly stay there again.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Located in the city centre therefore close to everything. Although it was self checkin it was made very easy to communicate well with staff.

the bathroom has no air circulation and holds smells. The sofa couch is dated and uncomfortable, we just lied across to avoid feeling the wood through the thin mattress. Finally it is located on top of a shopping district and only has 1 Fire Exit so its a bit worrying in terms of what happens when the fire is located at the exit.

The location was great its right next door to Dress Mart and lots of Food place, with a Superette across the road. Great for a Mt Smart game. I am a nan raising 5 kids and it was great for us. The place was clean with the exception noted next. The beds were comfy with the exception below. I cooked our breakfasts with what they have but I'm resourceful, but it worked. 1 medium pan, medium pot and 1 little pot on a stove top. Its a sufficient kitchen. This place is good value for money and Sampson was good at responding when we needed things.

the microwave was broken and housekeeping came earlier than scheduled and didn’t end up coming at all that day. they were supposed to come at 11am

Self catering, got my own meals; plenty of food outlets in the same street. A few extras; choc, bottled water, tea bags etc. Close to outlet stores mall, free parking available. I messed up my booking and had trouble getting in, but that was ALL my fault. What I appreciated was the graciouness and patience of the Manager, who was available by phone anytime.

The venue provided tea makings: coffee would also have been appreciated. But this is a minor point.

I liked the convenience of location - which was my principal reason for choosing this venue - however, I was immediately struck by the cleanliness of the rooms, and then also by the helpfulness of the management. The rooms were not big, but they are thoughtfully laid out, self-contained, and the bed was very much to my comfort. More generally, the venue is near public transport to the city, as well as a direct 'bus to the airport. Furthermore, the main street is blessed with a healthy variety of cafes and restaurants.
